Another way to get good pics for patching...

Fri Dec 30, 2005 10:01 pm

well...i don't know whether this was figured iut since ages...but i just thought about it and feel like sharing it wif all u folks out there...
it goes like this...
Video players like (K-Lite codec pack or Window Media Classic) have a feature that's the snapshot feature where we can take a screenshot out of the movie file we are viewing...well...if we make use of that feature smartly...we can get some pics from some nba game clips or mixtapes for players and use it for patching...
For Example
This is where how K-Lite codec pack helps to take screen shots

And this is the taken screenshot

Of course...the quality of the pics depends on how good the quality of the video u can get...(Y)
hope this help...or if this was figured out since long ago already...then forget or delete this topic

I always wondered if you could do that. I think that you could also play a DVD on your PC and take screens of that too, like maybe an NBA highlights DVD.

i just found out theres also another way to do it. using WMP go to Tools>Options>Performance and put the video acceleration to none, press print screen and just paste it into a image editor ie. paint or photoshop

You can do it on the VideoLAN player, just right click on the playing area and select snapshot, it saves as .png in the my pictures folder
