How Do You challenge another Player in NBA Live 360?

A friend an myself were in the Lobby for NBA Live 06 (360 version), yet neither of us could figure out how to challenge one another. I could pull up his gamer tag, but I could not invite him to a Game. It was Greyed Out. We spent about an hour trying to play one another and could not figure it out....

I had the same problem. Did anyone get the 360 and try to invite a player in the lobby or even a friend? You just can't, right??

i have the same exact problem.. i just do quick match though
