If I have downloaded BChogan's court update, extracted it to my SGSM folder... and then overrite it with your court update WHICH INCLUDES our favourite Chuck and Leo, wouldn't I, hypothetically speaking of course, lose any updates included in the Bchogan file I overwrote? The file in question is torostd_vram.fsh, which includes the Chuck and Leo I suppose but also is included in the aforementioned court update. So yes, I'm fairly certain I would lose certain additions Bchogan's update gave me. My original question was basically if there was any way to extract Chuck and Leo from the downloaded file and insert them into the Bchogan file so as to have the best of both worlds.
