EA Sports Retro Mode (Live 06)

This is weird but in my Playstation 2 NBA Live 06 Intruction Book on page 10 it says Game Modes: then reads what there is and the desciption of it (e.g Playoffs, Season, Dynasty & ect...) but there is a game mode written in there called "(NEW) EA Sports Retro" and the description reads "Play Old School Basketball with an all-time classic. Jump back in time and relive the glory days with EA Sports classic NBA 95."

This game mode is nowhere to be seen in the game, do you have to unlock it or what?

Also how do you unlock "Message from Allen Iverson" in the My NBA Live section?

I had no problem playing Live 95 on my PS2 version of Live 06. Not sure what's wrong with yours...

Yeah but my problem is that the game mode "EA Sports Retro" is not in the Game Modes menu but yet it's written in the book.

The PAL version of the game doesnt have live 95 on it

That's right. We missed out, though seeing as though it was a cutdown version because of licensing issues we probably didn't miss out on much. Especially those of us who can fire up the original NBA Live 95 if we really want to remember what it was like.

I actually did that when I was doing the retro reviews last year. Predictably I kept trying to do Freestyle moves.

Only the NTSC PS2 version of this game has this feature.
