UTAH Bug!!!

have you noticed that when you're playing with/against UTAH Jazz the scoreboard shows a four-letter id??? While every team on Live 2006 has a three-letter id like CHI, SEA, LAC, the Jazz has "UTAH". If you use TNT scoreboards, it really looks awful and out of place....Off course you can change it in the dbf file, but EA must be careful for Live 2007. Too many mistakes guys!!!!!

lol its not a bug. XD its allowed to be 4 letters. its abbrivated for huge names like golden state and orlando utah is short enough, but tahats not the problem. cause when u score triple digits and u are utah (which is me) the scoreboard overlaps. lol.

OMFG your kidding me!!!

this has wrecked my gaming experience. From here on in, i will never be able to play Utah without seeing this, this HYPOCRISY!!! In fact, i might just throw my game out the window now because this is just soooo bad.

There is no fucking way im ever buying NBA Live again, unless i get it in writing that they have dealt with this issue and it will never, ever happen again.

I cant believe they actually left the game this way, it really shows they have no conscience what so ever.

Your claim isn't even correct, because every other team doesn't have a three-digit tag. What about NJ, NY, NO, SA, etc.?? I'd hardly call this a bug, especially with such a simple quick fix as deleting one letter in teams.dbf...

k well first of all, how the hell is ea supposed to know someone would be making a patch for that, and so they should make utah have an abreviation so it fits, if you dont use the patch, it works fine(well for ps2 at least), and nba live 06 isnt a real game just because the utah letters overlap....wow

You should ask for other things, like rebounding, etc. Not bitch about the freaking scoreboard. And nless you're playing with the Jazz, you play against them 4 per year times at most.

Well baby, rebounding is not a problem with 0-100 configuration for Offensive and Defensive. Some other guys gave great sliders too. I play full 12 minutes, Starter mode and my games end below the 100 pts and the stats are as real as possible. Almost perfect!!. Jerseys and cyberfaces are awesome thx to all patchers here. But there are some "little" things wrong you must know. The three letter Id for teams must be in the game, no 2, 4, 5 letter anomalies.

Frankly, I don't give a damn about people like you criticizing opinions...EA doesn't have to see the future, I know, but patches such as TNT, ESPN scoreboards are made for real TV (where 3 letter names are the standard). I'm sure you never noticed that since you're eating too much popcorn and burgers like porks or smoking dope and crack you dopeheads!!

I don't think you should attack me and my friends for participating here....suckos!!! let me criticize EA you *******!!!

Y'know, to go along with the three-letter extensions like NJN, SAS, etc., why not just use postal abbreviations for names like Utah? Does UTJ look decent to anyone else?
