game freezes 2 secs after loading

Hello,
i've got a strange problem which occured also in nab live 2005. the problem is that the game always freezes after 2-3 secs after loading any type of game( training,season etc.) . i thought the problem was in nba 2005 but now that i see it happens to me also in 06 it's reallly annoying.
some details: p4 2.4 ghz
ati radeon 9600 128MB
512 ram

i already tried to: swich drivers for my video card -i've tried at least 10 version of catalyst driver , and also the omega drivers, but it's still doesn't change anything (now i'm with the latest catalyst 5.10). i aslo tried lowering the game resulotion and details and it doens't work either
the problem is only in this game. i don't have problem with othe games...
please help me...i'm despered!

maybe the new version 11 helps?
are you overclocking anything? install speedfan to check your computer temperatures.
