Cannot load saved dynasty mid-season - Please help!

Athlon 3200, 512 mb, plenty of everything...
I was playing and saving a dynasty, and got about twenty-five games in. All of a sudden, today, when I try to load it, it says it is loaded, but then redirects me to the main screen for game modes (dynasty, playoffs, one-on-one, etc).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

start a new one. i haven't seen someone recover a broken savegame yet.
