Why doesn't tactics/team strategy work?

In '05 I used 1-2-1-1 full court press and demolished every team with Dallas.

I press 1,2,3,4 and/or go to team strategy and see no results on the field?

Maybe you just suck at defense?
Or the game lacks defense?

What I wanted to say is that defense doesn't work at all.. for example I set double team and nobody in my team isn't doing anything:?

Do you see the play notification on the screen when you call it? If not, either Play call notify is set to Off in the settings or your command is not recognised by the game. What I have noticed is that while playing the pc version, you can't use both keyboard and gamepad during the game.

I figured this up: when you go to playbook and change team strategy that doesn't work, you have to set up defensive playbook and use that in the game. I think 1211 full court press is the best
