Hey guys, this is my first patch for NBA Live 2006. I don't have the game yet, so I didn't make complete update. Special thanks goes to Zach, who made previews for me.

Looks good but, i did everything on the read me..and now Mcgrady has like this acne on his face and his arms and legs are jet black. I tried it again, BTW-when I extract the folders to it's destination --the whole folder goes with it, which then adds an extra step of taking those files and putting them in the destination. Or am I suppose to keep the files in the numbered folders? I did steps 1-3 and I don't know whatsup? :?:

Ok, I've checked installation, and it worked just fine. I added tmac's face.fsh, which I, somehow, forgot to include. I agree with Nelson Mandela, you should have face he showed in your game Fabolous, I don't know how did you succeded to got such a cyberface.

Cocobee, you should extract content of folders.

guys, if you are getting that weird look, try renaming those arm and leg files from 88 to 48, then edit the corresponding appearance field...
(change COLOR to 4)

that's not about the cyberface, but the skin tone...
weired things only happen if you put in the color field a number bigger than "4", doesn't matter in the muscletext field though. so the biggest number you can assign for custom skin file is "49". "4" in color and "9" in muscletext.

that's from a discussion I had with ScottyInsane

great work lpasso (Y)

i installed it the way you instructed with the white arm bands and it turned out that way
heh i'll give it another shot and yeah you didn't have the face.fsh in the .rar

Seraph noticed this stupid error I made, again. Make new text document, name it "TmacRed" or whatever and copy this text for red band:
Code:
@echo off
echo Tracy McGrady skin files installation
echo Press Ctrl + C to ABORT, or any other key to CONTINUE
pause>nul

copy arm88_red.fsh arm88_red1.fsh

ren arm88_red1.fsh arm88.fsh

move arm88.fsh sgsm\

ECHO.
echo Tracy McGrady skin file is updated!
echo Press any key to EXIT...
pause>nul

Save at your main Live folder and rename extensio to .bat. Do the same thing for white band, but copy this text
Code:
@echo off
echo Tracy McGrady skin files installation
echo Press Ctrl + C to ABORT, or any other key to CONTINUE
pause>nul

copy arm88_white.fsh arm88_white1.fsh

ren arm88_white1.fsh arm88.fsh

move arm88.fsh sgsm\

ECHO.
echo Tracy McGrady skin file is updated!
echo Press any key to EXIT...
pause>nul

Now, use this bat files instead of those from my patch.

That's the only way to make the patch look good in game. You might wanna keep that as reference for later patches! Great patch, nice find. In my game. :wink:
