Most probably your cpu or ram...what is your spec? I've a GeForce MX400 card - and hopefully the game arrives tomorrow - judging by what everyone has said this card is ok (apart from the lighting)

Yeah the only problem i see its the lightning!
My card have 128 mb but MX series are crappy!!
Anyways 06 runs "fine" with Geforce4 cards,no problem!!!

Well if my card works fine with it and I know it should..it worked fine with Madden 05..how do I change the settings so it isnt running at such a high speed and with so many colors or what not..

The game works fine now..I guess I had to fiddle with the settings for ther video card on my desktop..it works great now thanks everyone who helped..and replied to my posts..

Ok let me rephrase that..it works fine once I get to the main menu..then it is still all choppy..im so confused on what to do..before it was choppy right from the start now..its just choppy once I go to the main menu..
Fri Oct 21, 2005 2:04 am
That's weird for it to be choppy in a menu...I doubt that takes up much system resources. But make sure you close all other applications that are running in the background. To do this click CTRL+ALT+DEL at the same time and click the task list and close any tasks lists that don't say SYSTEM by them. That should help...

what detail settings are you using?
and what do you mean by choppy?
Fri Oct 21, 2005 8:06 am
I am not sure what detail setitng im using cause i dont know how to check them../as in choppy i mena the start up screens are cyrstal clear but once it hits the main menu..its all like distorted and unreadable..like a messed up puzzle lol and when i try and play a game..if i get lcuky enough to read what im clicking..it is all distorted and not all colors..like patchy and unclear..
Heres some screens from what I am getting
This what I see bnefore the main menu

Your graphics card would not cause an error like that...it would cause low fps in game but not a messed up menu like that. Maybe you have a bad copy of the disc.
