Saving the Dyansty?

why can't i save my dynasty????????
this is the 2nd time i started one, played a few games, i can't save it, i go to save and it never ask me to put in a new name, and then i can't load it, this is too strange, anyone having a problem saving the dyansty? i am using the PC version of nba live 2006

u go to save, then click on an open slot and it will display save menu!
