Live 06 won't run w/Ps2 game controller adaptor..pls help

Tue Oct 18, 2005 4:42 am

Hi, I have a Dragon PC Power box USB adaptor connected to Ps2 controller working fine with my NBA live 05..
now here's my problem...

Everytime i'll double click NBA live 06 logo, the NBA live logo flashes then it goes black and always goes back to window...
but when I disconnect the Dragon PC box USB adaptor w/Ps2 controller and Double click NBA live 06
it runs smoothly and let me play just fine...

Can any1 suggest any Game controller that I can use with NBA live 06..
I never use keyboard and not used to play NBA with keyboard...
Is there a way I can use PS2 controllers on NBA live 06
any help or info would be much appreciated..
thanks in advance

I have a similar problem with my Super Joy 4 (I think that's what it's called - those Asian names still crack me up - and I'm Asian, too!)... slightly different, though.

I can get to every screen - but when I start any of the game modes, the picture cuts out, but the sound is fine! I have to press ESC and try and exit out of the game while blind.

I'm thinking of just getting a new gamepad.

I'm currently using this driver for my converter and it works fine = Super pro.EXE.
However, I have to plug and unplug the controller first until it's detected by Windows XP Control Panel -> Game Controllers. When it's detected already, that's when I run the game, and then it works fine already.

Hmm.. I don't have any problems using my 2 psx gamepads.

Try updating your drivers.
Also, what kind of power supply are you using?
Maybe it can't handle the additional usb devices?

Happened to me once, eventually my psu burned out.
Had to buy a branded one.
