Has probably been posted before, but on Xbox, when you hit a shot after the quarter has clearly ended, Marv will say "And it's good", and the ref will go and check, and signal it to be good, but you get no points.

It's good you don't get points, but they kinda screwed that part up.

fgrep, ive had it so that way after the buzzer ive scored, they said it was good, the ref said it was good, and i got points for it

hmm, i like the game. With some good sliders you can make it work fine. I believe there are a lot of things that should or at least could be corrected however i think that on balance the game is good.

commentators in all star mode (slam dunk contest) doesn't recognize JR Smith instead they call him #23!

PA Announcer only say Okafor's jersey number when he fouls someone. This has been also a bug in Live '05. tsk tsk..

wow i didnt know that about the ally-oop passes... is it just when the actual shooter misses the shot?

I just played a game and found out that it does, in fact, just count as a miss if the actual shooter misses the shot. Is this the actualy rule, or would it still be considered a bug?

After several tries, it seems to happen when the Pistons go ahead by double digits with a few minutes left. But, you have to give Ben Wallace a hard foul and then look to the stands. Then the game crashes.

I hate the Brightness-Bug in the Middle of the Court.
Its too bright ... im allways 'blind' after 30-40 min. playing NBA Live 06.
If i turn down the brightness (30-40) i cant play because the Sides of the Court are too dark.

I had this weird problem today. I was playing with my friend and i dont know how but all of a sudden the camera changed to ass if i was sitting in the 500 level of the arena, and i am serious about that part. I saw the court on an angle because the the camera angle was kind of like the xbox 360 camera angle but completely zoomed out. Anyway on top of that the score changed as well, instead of being 155-138 it was changed to 155-152. Really wierd but cool at the same time.

Not so much of a bug, but I can't get my Axis Pad to work with this game. I go through the controller configuration and adjust the buttons and it works fine until I'm actually in a game - none of the buttons want to work or anything for that matter. Anyone else have this problem? I went through NBA Live 2005 and a few other games and it works fine in those... aggrivating. It wouldn't bother me too much if they didn't have this new playmaker feature, but now I'm stuck with plain moves and no glory.

try saving it as a differnt name. mine is saved as ps2...

First of all.. i apologize for my bad technical english. I mean, i speak english but not "basketball english" so... here we go..

I found a bug when you try to make some passes and the ball goes to a player from the other team. Sometimes the ball hits his foot/feet what is a "foot fault" (i don't know if it is said this way.. in Spain we call it "pie" which is foot in spanish).
Well, if the ball can hit so clearly a player's foot.. shouldn't it be fault?

And another possible bug. I'm starting to think that the "off.rebound thing" that we all know.. maybe it's a bug, or at least it's seems so. I've realized that sometimes many players jump to take a board and when it seems they have the hands on the ball, it simply goes through the players body (so obviously, another player takes the rebound).

i know what your talking about with the foot bug thing.

alot of them time when i do a bounce-pass, it hits someone else on the foot and really pisses me off...

The foot thing isn't much of a bug really. It's just something that ads more realism to the game in my opinion.
And as for it being a foul, the player needs to have done it with intention; but if you just throw it as his foot, it shouldn't be a foul.

About the foot fault, i think that, intencional or not, if it stops an offensive play is a fault, no? At least, in FIBA basketball.

It is possible to report this bugs to EA? Maybe they can solve the off. rebound problem.

I don't think we'll be sending in a list of bugs to EA, but check with Andrew. Either way, I'm pretty sure EA is watching...
We have successfully sent in some Patch Petitions before, and gotten back an official patch, so perhaps it could be possible to do something like that; but I doubt EA will put aside that much time when their working hard on the X360 version.


By the way:

b. Kicking the ball or striking it with any part of the leg is a violation when it is an intentional act. The ball accidentally striking the foot, the leg or fist is not a violation.

has anyone expirienced a bug with player names in online games?
when the announcer (Marv) mixes all the names and You get something like "Declerc scores again" when you shoot with lebron etc...

this is ridicolous(sp?) this game freezes to damn much and i hate it!!!every time im in the dynasty mode and i go play the game, it freezes before the game even starts!
