[PC] NBA LIVE 06 Current Rosters v1.00

Updates in version 1.00:
- Current rosters updated as of October 9, 2005.
- Corrected positions based on expected real life rotations.
- A bundle of missing players (20+) created. Some with speech and faces. (If someone is missing benji forgot to tell David to create him. Players were added based on their signing date so players who signed first were created first. Veterans already in the game also got a nod over rookies.)
- No ratings updated as of this point. Coming in subsequent versions.
- Boston and Portland arena names set to correct ones.

Any chance of adding Josh Powell of the Mavs to the game?

He is in the FA list. Mavs had 15 players already, I'd cut Abdul-Wahad's never going to play again bum for him.

yea.. i think they r good rosters.. except for some primacy problems.. why is iverson 37 in primacy?why is ben wallaces primacy high 90's. i dont remember exact numbers but alot of the primacy ratings on certain players r very... weired. is it only me that has this problem??

Yes, yes, I too noticed this problem. (When I simmed and Ben Wallace was averaging 21ppg) However looking at the CD I see they weren't this way by default. Seeing as I didn't change them, I wonder if there's some sort of bug in the create player as they were same as the CD until players were created. I will of course be fixing this issue in the next version with the rating updates. I also will do a test by creating a player for a team I've edited to see if it happens.

But McKie and Bryant have both number 8!

Thank you. I didn't really look at player numbers as the ones I did had not had numbers yet so I gave up. I forgot to look on veterans who changed teams.

Any chance at updating the teams playbooks as well on ur next update? I've found a big difference in game play when the offensive and defensive strategy and playbooks have been set to each teams unique philosophy. Just a thought. You make one of the meanest rosters around. keep it up.

Yes, most likely. I could've done it on this one if I had taken another day. I have a number of lists from OperationSports I'm going to cobble together. If you (or anyone) have suggestions for the teams I will hear them out.

I found a problem. I scanned through the Indiana Pacers jerseys and the new ones are there but they are not aligned correctly. The 05-06 Away Jersey is not next to the 05-06 Home Jersey. They are seperated by at least two jerseys; I think this can be fixed because I downloaded another roster before this and it had it right.

Edit: You might as well update the Cav's arena name to "Quicken Loans Arena" as I read in another thread

I will look into the Pacers issue, I had only seen if it came up as default jerseys in exhibition. Yes, Amr noted that Cavs arena change to me on MSN and it's already been done so it will be in the next version.

Im not sure if this has to do with the rostrs but i made a new dynasty with your rosters and when im in offseason and i click on resign players it always crashes

I didn't have that problem, I tried two seasons in dynasty and could resign both times. But if other people are having this issue I would definately like to know as then I will assume it is my roster and try to fix it. Unfortunately I can't really help you if you're the only one having the issue.

yeah, I had the same problem with the resigning of the players crash. which is bummer because they are good rosters. maybe it has to do with players like randolph and gai having 0 years left during the season when they should have one, but i dont know for sure.

If it crashes for you, download again.

Change it into 1 year left in dbf and it doesn't crash anymore in offseason

For me the game crashes whenever I wanna play with or against the Heat

ok thanks SVG, i will give that a shot, i just need to look and see who all have that issue. i was thinking that was what the problem was, so i thought id just put my theory out there for everyone else too.

umm another quick thing. i went to download them again and i am haveing trouble finding them. im sure you realize this and are doing it on purpose, but i was just wondeirng where i could get your rosters.

by the way, thanks for the hard work. i wish i had the time and ability to put forth to patch, etc. i hadnt been playing pc nba live since 2001, but now i needed something to do on my laptop at college without changing the tv and annoying my roommate, so thanks for improving my live experience.

There was an issue earlier. They should be where they were before now.

The issue was the contracts, somehow I had missed about five.

Ruben Patterson and Khryapa are listed as SF's ... you should keep players at their originalish positions.. like the obvious Patterson and maybe DJ Mbenga... oh and yeah the dynasty crashes when i try and re-sign players

As I stated, players were added based on their signing date. Considering the Lakers roster was full before any players were created, Smush was not created.
