I got a lot better in the game and waswinning too easily. I have adjusted some sliders that i found they effect the game and make it more realistic for me. I still get the same type of scores that i posted aove with these sliders, because i got a little better like i mentioned before.
I should also note, that i have Golden State. I have 2 defensive stoppers, a highflyer and a scorer. So offense is easy for me since they are a good fast break team. They block a lot of shots too, so if you don't have these types of players, you should use my old sliders from this topic.

Game Speed: 40
Free Throw Difficulty: 50 - 70 depending on your own skillz.
Boundary Force Field: 90
Injury Frequency: 50
Fatigue Effect: 42-46.....not too high because the game won't be as realistic...example kobe can't make shots after 6 minutes of play.
Charge/Block Foul Frequency: 80 .....there are too many easy charges in this years game in online play it is pretty easy to take charges , so for online i guess it would be 90.>>>Update

User Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability: 55-60>>>>>>UPDATE
User Freestyle Effectiveness: 40
User Dunk vs. Lay-up Frequency: 5-15 (I made a lot of lay ups when it was on 1. Then i put it on 5-10 and it was pretty more realistic. Players don't dunk from standstill all the time, just the ones thathave a higher dunk rating and the ones with good stamina. It depends if you want more dunks in the game. If you do you should use 15 -25.>>>>>>>UPDATE

I had the same problem........i was winning too easy and was able to come back at will almost, but i also have two defensive stoppers and a highflyer and a scorer in Golden State.
I recently tried to play on a higher gamespeed in an online game and it was pretty good. You can Go with Game Speed 50-53 with a higher fatigue slider and the game will be pretty good. The jumpers will be easier to time and the animations will look better.
If you don't want to change the gamespeed, then you should try these Slider Updates:
Fatigue Effect: 42-46>>>>>50 your players will get more tired and only the starters and superstars will be easy to score with.
User Steal Ability: 15 >>>>>5-8....you won't be able to steal the ball as easily.
User Interception Ability: 35 >>>>>15-20>>>depends on how good your D is. If you are good , then use lower sliders on these two.
User Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability: 55-60>>>>>35>>>you own't block as much only with high rated blockers and if you time it well.
User Short Range Shooting: 50 >>>>45
User Medium Range Shooting: 45 >>>>40
User Long Range Shooting: 40-42 >>>38
I personally don't like to drop my shooting, because players just start missing shots they usually make with their eyes closed, but if the game is too easy, you should lower the shooting. Thn you really have to work on the open shots.
If the game is still too easy, then you can do the opposite to what you did to the user sliders to the CPU sliders>>>>>
EXAMPLE:
CPU Dunk/Lay-up Block Ability: 65 >>>>>75
I find it very easy to win with teams with more than one superstar. Stoppers in particulair. Try using teams with one superstar like Utah or Boston, which has 2.Highflyer(R.Davis) and scorer(Pierce)
hope this helps a little.

ijblpacers wrote:The best thing to do is to set offensive rebounds for both yourself and the CPU at 0, and defensive rebounds at 100. Thats the only way they should be in this game. I am sure they will start to fall to you. I recomend trying out my sliders (version 2.0), I am getting very realistic results.

When I first started playing I was amazed at how easliy the computer grabbed offensize rebounds from me. Even when I put the CPU slider to '0' they were still grabbin' em. I found that it was the way I was trying to get the defensive rebound that was the problem.
In NBA Live 2005 you could be under the basket a sort of just jump and grab the ball, or the ball would not bounce off the rim as far as it does in Live '06. I have had better luck in NBA Live '06 if, when trying to get a defensive rebound, you make sure your player is outside of the circle area in the low post. Most of the missed shots will bounce out away from the basket, so your player must be in the appropriate position. Just like in real life, if you are boxing someone out down low, you would not be standing right under the basket to grab a rebound; you would get outrebounded every time.
I can usually keep the computer to 12 offensive rebounds or less in a 40 minute game (10 minute quarters; Superstar level) which, from playing college ball and watching NBA games, seems pretty realistic. Hope this helps.
