Talk about NBA Live 06 here.
Sat Oct 15, 2005 5:20 pm
It was about time someone did this.
To all of the users of NBA Live. This year the 'back down' button is no more. You now simply push the right analog stick down. That does not mean you push the stick in like a button (this activates off-ball control.) It means that you hold in it's down direction.
If you use the keyboard, I strongly suggest you spend $20 and get yourself a cheap controller. After a couple games you will get over any sentimental attachment and preference you once had for the keyboard.
Thank you, and don't make another thread about this.

now we just need to make this thread sticky for the next couple of months.
Sat Oct 15, 2005 7:56 pm
well duh... its in the game manual for all those who bothered to read it.. or buy the game.
Sat Oct 15, 2005 9:02 pm
I bought the game... i've readed the manual.. i bought a control pad with analog sticks the past year... and i still prefer the keyboard. You know? This is PC, not a console..
Eliminating the back down buttom has been a GREAT MISTAKE!
By the way.. the new "super-option".. instead of the back down buttom.. the great "superstar buttom" of what you want to call it.. it's a nonsense.. uaagh!

is there really really really no other way to place a back down button for the keyboard? can;t you nba-live.com guys work your magic?
Sun Oct 16, 2005 4:20 pm
I wonder it too for ages aaand if not ı can't be playing live anymore
Sun Oct 16, 2005 8:25 pm
it can be done i think.just bind the keys like we did for freestyle control in the past lives.depends on if anyone wants to do it or not
Tue Oct 18, 2005 2:43 am
binding keys like we did in past lives doesn´t work just for one thing that have been said before, binding we can only set keys for the up and left movement of the right analog joystick because we set a key for an axis movement ( 1key for up-down and other key for left-right ), so we can do only one of the axis movements
Tue Oct 18, 2005 8:55 am
so is there a solution for that
Sun Oct 23, 2005 12:47 am
can a negative value be put in the keybind (thus making up down, and right left)?
is there really no solution for this?

Buy a gamepad already.
Mon Oct 24, 2005 1:01 pm
i mean, without having to buy a gamepad, can't this be done? can't you nba live experts do anything?

Maybe we could start a paypal account to get you $20 + any applicable taxes in your area to pay for the gamepad. But no.
