Is the Freeze Glitch in the game this year?

Is it?

I just wanna know in advance because I had Live 05 until after Thanksgiving of 04 then I had to sell my soul to 2K Sports and played 2K5.

So, is the Freezing back this year?

Which freeze glitch are you talking about? If your hardware isn't good enough or you muck up something in the dbfs, the game will freeze. I haven't experienced any lockups, if that's what you mean.

I mean for the console.

It use to freeze up randomly in game, but you could do the All Star Weekend except for the Rookie Game and ASG.

Ah, I see. I never experienced that last year so I'm not familiar with it. As I haven't played the console version yet so I can't give any insight there but perhaps someone else can.

i had the same problem with the console version also (btw i dont have live 06 yet), it would just freeze out of nowhere when you pressed start to pause the game and then the pause menu wouldnt appear. most annoying time i got this glitch was when i had a career high with darko millicik (sp), 45 pts, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, 4 assists, and 2 steals. the only reason i even played him was because early in the game both wallaces were in foul trouble, i ended up playing mcdyess and darko most of the game, damn freezing glitch...

i had 05 on ps2, never had a problem with freezing...

Maybe you guys bought a pirated version of the game.

unless ea sells pirated versions straight from their store, im pretty sure it isnt . If it is, fuck you ea.

Yea, my game (PS2) freezes pretty frequently when a game is loading in dynasty mode(once every 2 to 3 games). I don't know if it is only in dynasty mode, but that's all I've been playing. Also, it seems to always happen on the loading screen that displays the "Stopper" superstar skill with Jermaine O'Neal and Ben Wallace. That's all I know

I have both 2005 and 06 for ps2 and nothing ever whent wrong.

Same here never had a problem with it. Will be getting 06 soon when it is released here in the UK.

I also have never had a problem with either 05 or 06. Maybe clean your ps2??

mines freeze up during loadin time......on PS2

Mine freezes on the load screen during dynasty, too. I was hoping it was just a glitch so I could return the game and not have to keep hitting reset.

Anyone talk to EA about it?
