THIS LOOKS HELLA AWESOME!

Don't think it's an In-Game Scene. I would say it's PC renderd.

how can they keep online gaming smooth on xbox360. Only people with extreme speeds can play smootly online. The upload speed has to be like 1 MB at least on both players. If this is an in game pic that is.

roffie.. only in an EA sports game does graphical quality influence network performance..
client/server network communication is generally refined to sending/receiving the bare minimum of information.. that should pretty much exclusively be the positions of players, the direction they're moving in and where they're likely to be in x frames.. to this point NBA Live is an exceptionally bad example of network code, that's the only thing I can say to account for the whole lowering detail increasing network performance thing..
rest assured that if they set themselves a task to improve network performance then the correllation between graphics and network performance should dissapear

wow, that's a great screen. If thats what the game really looks like I might have to consider buying a console for the first time. That was really impressive!

Graphical Data is NOT sent between players when online.

while this is true, in this case the netcode implemented has an issue with drop in fps that results in cases where it can't calculate "fps drops of client's pc" accurately. in order to make the game less laggier you must set your details so that your fps keep pretty steady @ 75-80.

Sorry Cashless, I've been a bit on the edge with most of the General Live 06 section. Guys don't seem to read other topics & just seem to be making threads for the fun of it, it becomes a pain just to visit.
Anyways, sorry once again for jumping all over you & thanks again for the info.

I think the screens from NBA 2k6 are a bit better than NBA Live 06.
But anyway, i'll buy them both if I buy an xb360
Tue Oct 04, 2005 12:18 pm
I'd highly doubt it'll look like that when the game comes out, but I'll get it regardless.
