I cant turn on the lighting. Please help!

Why cant I even select the lighting on/off option????
I have a HP Pavillion zv5000 laptop with a Nvidia GeForce4 420 Go 32M video card that ran NBA Live 2005 beautifully, runs Madden well, and runs a game as graphically complex as UT 2004 great.
Whats wrong with this year's Live that I cant even turn on the lighting?

I got a GeForce 4 MX 440 64MB and i can't turn it on neither, but i couldnt with Live 2005 anyway...so i guess i'd need a 128MB card.

in order of graphical needs... ut2004 < madden 06 < nba 05 < nba 06.

There is a way to fix the lightning problem with us,but there are not ppl interested on it,they only said : Buy a new fucking card!!!!
At least,we have to wait,and we have other post in this thread but its the same,no fixes yet!!!

yeah i heard there's a solution but it makes the game play crappy.

indeed... the fact that you can't turn it on points to the fact your card isn't good enough... so way turn it on anyway??
