Im havin so many problems with the substitution slider.Im tryin to get it so the reserves can at least a decent amount of time in da game, but enough that my starters can wreck. And whats up wit the same lineup stayin in after the end of the quarters. It dont make sense at halftime when the starters should be comin back in for the 3rd

i have my fatigue effect at 40 and my auto subs at 50. seems to work pretty good. The starters seem to stay in a bit longer but i prefer it that way cuz i play on shorter quarters.

Sit, I used your sliders....overall they seem pretty good and only really require some minor tweaking....

I adjusted the following:
game speed from 25 to 35 as 25 is unrealistically slow....so I think a rating of 35-40 is probably ideal for this....
offensive rebounds are still too frequent as david lee was having a field day....I changed both human and cpu offensive rebounding down to 10 and defensive rebounding up to 90....seems to be working a little better....
FT difficulty from 55 to 65....
neither the cpu or myself had any steals with your slider settings, so I adjusted cpu interception up to about 10 and I think steals at 20....slightly higher in both categories for humans....

the rest seem fine for the time being....let's see how it works with a little for tweaking (Y)

I changed offensive rebounds on both sliders on 0 and defensive rebs. to 100 and there are still too many damn offensive rebounds on superstar level. i played 7 minute quarters.....the scores are a little less than in real life, but the offensive rebounds are still too high. I think the only thing that will change that is by lowering every players offensive rebounding by 30 or 40 and upping every players devensive rebounding with 40........but that shit will take a lot of work.

I keep husseling back to block a shot with Kobe or Mihm and some other guy just picks up the ball and dunks it while my other players are just walking over the ball and shit. pretty frustrating. this happens 8 times a game, i think.

I Always set the the lay u frequence up(75), and keep the dunk frequence at 50...
It keeps the game less arcadish, looking like real basket with lay ups...
also, the players move their body too much when dunking... instead of hiring garnett and lebron for motion capture, they should hire players like Chris Mihm, Solid white guy dunk on the post, not fancy but it could look more natural...

live 2005 had a good diversity in dunks.........now most of the guys do the jordan and barkley dunk.......guys who don't have the hangtime are floating from the dotted line and doing jordan and hammer dunks. the dunkpacks suck ass in nba live 06.

Man, seriously, just do the subs yourself. I can't believe you're that lazy. Working out your OWN rotation that works is part of being a good coach/player. I'm glad it shits you.

if you check my sliders above, the on-ball physical defense is set at 80 so that it'll be a little harder to escape an opponent because freestyle moves are too powerful in this version of live..... i guess that's the only way to make it a little difficult...... hope that helps...... another thing, i'm increasing th blocks from 5 to 25, 5 is too low......

Is there any way to change the user-sliders for online-play? In my opinion there has to be a file in which they store those settings...

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum but have been playing NBA Live for years. I still am not able to figure how the Slider work. I was just wandering if there is any documentation that defines all the setting in the Slider menu. I am going to start a new Season and I am pretty good in ALL-STAR. I am looking to move up to Superstar but the computer also blows me away in the 4th quarter. I was just wandering if there is a way to make the computer play a realistic game.

Thanks in advance for everyone suggestions

They're my suggestions for NBA Live 2005. And just to clarify, the "NLSC Sliders" and "Andrew's Sliders" are one and the same.
