Yea, they did seem to increase the Arcadey'ness of the game a bit this year Even in SimMode. Played Spurs last night on a ranked game the guy was able to run the pick and roll at half court and hit three 3 pointers in a row FROM HalfCourt as if they were normal 15 foot jumpers.

ALso, whatever happen to the automatic replays this year? We get None during online play?

Defense sucks ass in this game.........the players silde all over the place and when a player is in the bucket there is almost no way to stop them even if they aren't inside scorers....except taking charges, but i refuse to do that shit too often.

I actually like the way the game plays this year. The CPU is more aggressive in trying to get into the paint and get fouled, unlike last year where the CPU just shot the ball unrealistically well. Anyways I haven't played much to gauge a real game with adjusted sliders. The graphics have been vastly improved, I like!

Since I like simulation, I'm hoping this won't be another repeat of NBA Live 2003

haters!! anyone who got live can tell u dat the gameplay is topnotch once again, defence is crazy!!! dont get me started on the animations, so much of dem and the look smooth and i didnt mention of fastbreak, its orgasmic ....i got my game yesterday and i repeat its NOTHING like 2005, players and jerseys are detailed

Well, I think is so much better than Live 2005, but yes, it's too arcade. Anyways it's really fun to play it, and better with more people. That's what Live needed, last versions were too boring. Don't forget that this is a videogame, it's all about fun. For real basketball just train with a team or watch NBA games. Anyways, I want to buy soon 2K6, because 2K5 was awesome, and if you want to play alone, maybe is the right choice.
