Is there a tutorial thing for patches? IE Rosters.

Basically, the only patch id want is to have rosters updated.

However, one thing i do not want is to have the players altered, such as the overall rating higher or lower, i want to take ea's jugdement on that instead.

is this pretty much how the roster update works? or are the ratings edited as well?

Most roster updates also edit ratings, since some players show improvement or decline in the new season, rookies are better/worse than expected etc. The main purpose of the roster update is to reflect all the latest transactions as well as add missing players but ratings are also generally fixed/updated.
