How Come No Impressons From the Aussie cats who have already got the game.

i mean i saw one line about offensive rebounding but thats it.

so you guys buy the game and dont play it? or havent had the time to post impressions or what?

i would love to hear how it stacks up versus Live 2005 and the goods and bads of the game, along with many others here... just my two cents.

hopefully someone who has it can take some time out and let us know. it would be greatly appreciated

I think they're probably just playing the game too much to bother writing something, that's kinda been the impression I've got from guys I know who have the game.

Andrew will definitely write a review or something at some point, but I think he only got the game yesterday so give it time and I'm sure he'll do one.

^^ Exactly, they're (I guess) trying to play every level, adjust slider, check if any bugs are still in the game, check the game in general Just wait and you'll see

Just be patient. Besides, if you had a chance to play the game early, I'm sure you'd spend more time playing the game, and checking out all its features. I know I would.

Is there a difference between Aussies live 06 and the upcoming live from us?

I doubt they would make a different game for us...

its a sick game, but it seems like they could have added something else

i kno that i thought freestyle superstars would have made a huge difference, but its more about making cool replays and stuff, it helps but it wasnt as big as when the brought back the 3pt contest or anything

I disagree with you, I think the New Freestlye Superstars is a hundred times better.
I mean in Live 05, I think I did the 3pt shootout and dunk contest no more than 10 times.....I havent even done it in 06 yet.

For me Live 06 is a brand new game, totally different from 06, except the odd thing or two. But the FS (Freestlye Superstars) gives the game a new feel, and it spreads the non superstars from the superstars, Tmac controls his team, Iverson controls his, Nash gets 20 and 10.

I might do a quick impressions post later tonight and then a full-blown review with images and so ofrth on the main site sometime this weekend. I would've done it sooner, but when you work full time you can't exactly spend two days straight trying out the game. I'm not high up enough in the company to do that.

Theres been lots of impressions posted around.....

I love the new animations, much more variety, players dont "stop dead" and pass the ball like they used to, ally oops look like real ally oops... The Dynasty mode changes arent all that super... I dont like player training, its far too random!

You can assign coaches to rehabilitate your injured players and get them back on board quicker... kinda cool, I really like the assistant coaches feature...

Freestyle Superstars is cool, makes fast break pretty, playmakers is causing alot of turnovers though, gotta master it...

Had a quick look at CPU generated rookies and they seem alot better than last year, i saw an actual star PG with proper PG stats come out the first draft.

Ummm, thats my first impressions only had a few hours last night to muck around with it...

Big kudos to my fellow aussies who posted all the info, screens, vids the past few days for live 06. Looking forward to more info like many others have said. Also Impose is right on how much impressions have been posted.

I agree on this, I even got some videos of full first quarters played by actual NBA fans and not those fools who only try to dunk, block and shoot triples. If I'd have the game early I wouldn't even be sure I'd spend time on sharing my impressions, instead of playing it 24/7.

bought the game yesterday arvo @ harvey norman, took me ages to get used to, but once it all feels good, i know i'll be havin a ball

I have a problem with the replays and stuff.. have nba live 06 taken out automatic replays now?.. and i dunno how to get meself the freestyle replays

Yea, auto replays are gone, you have "superstar replays" instead, when you pull a superstar move you can press a button to goto a replay....

I got sick of auto replays pretty quickly, turned them way down anyways, they never replayed the stuff you -really- wanted replayed anyways... Replaying fouls... that was a bad idea!

anyways, another problem, which has come up heaps from everyone is the Backdown.. i'm using a 12 button customizable something controller... and my buttons are probably the same as everyone else with a control.(ie. right analog is freestyle)...
I find myself quitting matches halfway through because i don't know how to backdown defenders, and i just get taken over.. If you are able to help with this, please do.. its killin me

Right analog stick -> down

when i pull the right analog stick down, all that happens is freestyle moves.. and if i hold it down, then the moves just repeat and stuff

how about the defensive stance?.. is that also right analog stick down for yous aswell?
