Jersey Patching

I can't get the game until the 27th/28th/whatever here in Canada, so I have a question about patching jerseys. How similar/different is it to 05? Will we be able to just copy files from 05 to 06 and it'll work? Could someone try to add a jersey, if they have the time?

I'm thinking that Jowe's balls patch is most needed as the balls at the moment are pretty bald and ordinary

I think the 2005 ball patch he made can be used. I don't think the format changed

It is, I was just wondering how you were going to test and make previews and such, since I remember you living in the US.

Must be the same as all the old tools work for jerseys at least.

Never really got into patching the previous games but tried a quick effort here with my shiny new Aussie Live 2006

First pic, I just made the spurs jersey brighter and more detailed, second is an experiment to see what a sweaty (ala NBA 2K) jersey looks like

Yea, they're the same. Just not 2x though. And I couldn't open them with fshx but I could with fshline, which just extracted the fsh file pretty much.

Admiral50, I'm feeling those "sweaty" jerseys. They look good ingame--maybe add a better jersey texture and this might be the norm.

Has anyone tried using 05 jersey patches for 06? Like c0nr4d's alternate packs or my NHL jerseys? I'd like to know whether or not I'll need to redo my jerseys for 06.
