Lag on PC - 05 or 06

Has anyone ever experienced lag while playing on the PC? my laptop is good - but about 18 months old, so im wondering if it will be able to cope

btw, internet multiplayer doesnt matter

what is the video card on your laptop? if it's intel "extreme" graphics, which is what i have on my laptop, then you can't really play. The speed shouldn't really matter if it's only 18 month old, but what's your ram? you need more than 256mb to play for a laptop.

impretty sure it would have 256mb ram... its an IBM thinkpad... if that matters at all

aww that's too bad:P upgrade it maybe:P buy a new one:p hehehhe mine never lags and i put it on full details:P ati radeon x600,1gb of ram and pentium 4 3 ghz:::D hehee felt like showwwing off:P and i will upgrade my ram to 2 gb once i have enough money:P

My X800XTPE ran 05 easily on max settings with 6xAA and 16xAF so im pretty sure im safe
