Need help with jerseys

I'm having problems with my jerseys fellas, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.

Anyway the problem is that the jerseys in the game are turning up grey and without numbers.

I've tried re-installing the game and the problem still occurs.

The practice jerseys are fine, it's just the team jerseys are the ones that are turning up all grey.

I hope someone can help me out with this problem

I have been dying here .
My numbers dissapeared on the front of my jerseys months ago.
I have yet to find out why.
DAMNIT
and yes...my practice jerseys are fine.
my ingame jerseys are not grey though.
i even broke down and emailed EA Tech Support and got NOPLACE
shocker
I also tried reimporting the xteam.viv files...and also complete uninstall and reinstall numerous times..to no avail
I am at wits end with it
so please..if you figure it out...let me know

could it be that direct x9 screwed me over ?
and if so...how can i delete it and reinstall an older direct x version

I don't think you can... When did this problem first occur? When you installed the game?

Have you tried to unistall the game, delete your ENTIRE NBA Live 2003 folder + your NBA Live folder in documents?

the problem first started occuring many many months after i installed the game
and yes
i tried a COMPLETE uninstall and reinstall
all folders..all files..

Could it be the jerseys themselves? Sometimes the transparency with the numbers is messed up... or am I just rambling into the wind here...

can you give me any hints or pointers regarding working with layers when creating jerseys ??
I am desperately trying...but suck royally. i dont want my adobe photoshop to go to waste ;>)

Hey fellas, I fixed the problem. I just reinstalled my 3d card drivers and it worked. The shitty thing is that the drivers im using arent compatible with Win Xp's HCL... :evil:

meaning my monitor flickers every 10 seconds. Grr.

Hey SQ, have you got jersey patches for every team?

Could be the patches. As in the file with all the team numbers weren't included with the patch.

The only reason I made that suggestion is one time i was making a jersey and I stole the letters from another team, and they turned out all scrambled...

Well I'm using PSP, but anyway...
I'm not sure exactly what your question is. What do you mean layers (sorry, im more of a programmer than gfx designer :oops:

) I am not sure how editing numbers works, what I did for my almonte jersey (see my avatar) was take the numbers from the chicago bulls. They resembled my numbers and worked well in the game. I also believe there was a post somewhere that talked about editing jersey numbers...
I hope I haven't totally missed the point of your question, if you can rephrase it maybe I will be able to help...

I included a small tutorial in the PDK version that mentions how to use the JI to make self installing jerseys... but I am planning on writing a tutorial that shows how to make a jersey patch from scratch soon.
