I took note of some player ratings from the screenshots:

Kobe is 95
LeBron is 95
Wade is 91
KG is 96
TMac is 93
Dirk is 86
Iverson is 89
Amare is 90
Nash is 85
'Melo is 86
Joe Johnson is 87
Steve Francis is 89
RJefferson is 87
VC is 89
Kidd is 88
Lamar is 81
Duncan is 91
Manu is 88
Peja is 78
Mike Bibby is 82

Lastly...HOW CAN SASHA VUJACIC BE 62? He is apparently the Lakers' starting PG in the game...

but, after all, these are BETA scren shots and can be changed.

I'm thinking that they have tweaked all of the ratings as it seems that all players in general are rated higher overall....Joe Johnson as an 87 is ridiculous in my mind....

Fri Sep 16, 2005 12:24 am

awesome man....too bad each shot is only 9 man deep....cant see mutombo or damon stoudamire.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 12:30 am

This has to be a very old build - Rahim is with Nets. The final ratings will look very different.

Wade is good but Marion is a complete player so his overall is going to be high.

Impressions:

Player Evolution is awesome, similar to fight night 2. You get to see your player change in their cyberbuild.

Almost all photos are old from last year. Shaq's is new, mobley is new.

Boozer is underrated at 72. He's a solid 76-78.

Joe Johnson at 87, is a little high. He's higher than nash. Atlanta will be good when that 87 transfers to them, as some of their players are a little high like Smith over 80.

Rasheed is too high at 89. He's not on par with Kirilenko, Pierce, or Vinsanity. And shaq is only 90, so sheed should be about 83-84.

Cleveland is very good and very deep with all the new signing. New Jersey has a real triple threat in kidd, carter and rj.

Miami, though highly rated, if you add up the ratings, they are short of Detroit, Phoenix and San Antonio in terms of top five players.
That won't stop people from using them very well online though. I'm sure shaq is unstoppable despite his lower rating of 90. Walker also went down to 78, which by these standards, is a LOT lower than 80 was in live 05.

most of the ratings look good.

I wonder if you can acquire new moves like billups gets "playmaker" only in the offseason?

As a Laker fan myself, the better question to ask is "HOW CAN SASHA VUJACIC BE THE LAKERS STARTING PG???"

As far as the player overall ratings - I think they are final. I don't see the big deal if Joe Johnson is rated 87 overall. Like him or not, his last 2 years in Phoenix he averaged approx 17ppg. Last year was #2 in the league in 3pt %. and Atl picked him up looking at him as their go-to guy. So I don't think 87 overall is unrealistic for him.

Everything looks fine to me except Pierce 89, Johnson 87, RJ 87 :o
Thats just crazy, but im glad they finally posted them :P

hmmm, do you watch...N B A?
i dont see what the problem is...he can shoot 3's, dunk, play great D, rebound, block, steal, he is fast.....so whats the problem?

Fri Sep 16, 2005 3:49 am

hmmmmmm I watch ALOT of NBA and he does not desever to be a fricking 91!! thats the same as dwane wade and he has a higher overall the steve nash!!! Doesnt make any sense..that has to be a mistake. At the highest it should be is an 85..not a god dam 91!

Fri Sep 16, 2005 3:50 am

LOL and by the way he is NOT a complete player bud..sorry to bust your bubble

Fri Sep 16, 2005 4:00 am

Can someone give a direct link to the Player Evolution please... Dial-up is a little restricting as to looking at 200 images.

Are you saying Marion is not a complete player??

Name something that he doesn't do fairly well. He's one of the most complete players in the league!

He can shoot, run, steal, block, play O, play D. He was an All-Star last year, not some dud!

Fri Sep 16, 2005 4:10 am

Travis Outlaw a 75 nice.. i guess they expect him to finally do somethin this year.

haha @ Iguodala higher than Webber... i am glad they did that, EA really did some good ratings for the most part.

LeBron as high as Kobe.. nice!

Boozer rated 72? ouch

the biggest surprise was Peja's 78 rating.. they hatin? lol

Why do you think overalls mean who is better? Clearly wade is better then Marion in some aspects, but marion is more of a solid player at everything. Is that too hard to understand? Nash is great on offense, but has little D, thats why his overall isnt as high as marions.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 5:33 am

aw Rip's only a 76 and Tayshaun is 84 when Ben is 85.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 5:35 am

Stat: Marion v Wade
FG% 47.6 - 47.8
3FG% 33.4 - 28.9
FT% 83.3 - 76.2
RPG 11.3 - 5.2
APG 1.9 - 6.8
SPG 2.01 - 1.57
BPG 1.47 - 1.06
TOPG 1.54 - 4.17
PPG 19.4 - 24.1

I think the ratings are quite fair.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 5:52 am

the roster is old. why is rahim in the nets' roster? i also couldn't see damon stoudamire's rating.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 5:53 am

Rips Only 6 point better than Hunter gonna change that...

Hella wrote:LOL and by the way he is NOT a complete player bud..sorry to bust your bubble

Im sorry but that might be the stupidest thing ever said,

PPG RPG BPG

19.4 11.3 1.5

3rd in the L in rebounding mind you he's 6-7, ALL NBA 3rd TEAM DEFENDER and hes 2nd in steals. He is better than ya boy Wade anyways...dumbass.

Fri Sep 16, 2005 6:00 am

Marion is a good player to have on your team, but you can't build a team around him like you can with Wade, LeBron and the likes and I'll tell you why. If you give the rock to Marion and expect him to do something with it, then you will be dissapointed.
