I'd go against using the new PC as a server. Point of a server is to be FAST and you achieve that by uncluttered shit. I know PC's tend to get cluttered, no matter what you do.

If you can do 8 HD's I'd suggest you go with like 5-6 individual 30 gigs every time.

5 x 30 = 150
1 x 150 = 150

5 x 30 > 1 x 150.

My motherboard on the new computer is RAID compatible, meaning the motherboard can recognize and support up to 8 hard drives, but I wouldn't use it as a server as you mentioned. But, it's a good idea from a business perspective, but I don't have the money at the moment :| Good suggestion though, and I might look into that in the future since I'll be working with computers anyway.

Im Back ! Whadddup NLSC.

Ye I had a good vacation. Crazy though. When I was returning from Texas to Nashville, I had to transfer to Cincinatti and was stuck there for awhile cause of the storm and wind Hurricane Katrina caused. Overall, It was a good experience going to the States and reuniting with some cousins and friends.
