Live 2006 Hype-O-Meter

From what you have seen so far...How do you think Live 2006 will be?
Yes people can't be sure yet, but seeing how the general impression is. I think it's quite mixed...so far.

pretty good so far. better than 04 for sure. didnt see any block shots on jumpers.

hard to tell, we need a CPU vs CPU game for a better decision.

Yeah. Nothing has made me jump out of my seat yet. But overall pretty good.

06 is lookin pretty nice so far. the most important thing at the end of the day is that it's fun. hopefully the new freestyle superstars feature will enhance the enjoymant.

Still waiting to here ANYTHING on dynasty mode

It's pretty hard to tell when according to all reports the game will be a box. In that box will be a CD, and on that CD will be the freestyle superstars. I'm still waiting for the press release ... "Sorry but we have removed all game modes and replaced it with our new Freestle Superstar feature. Enjoy!"

I think it's good enough for me...I mean the dynasty mode cant get any wors than last year so that suprstar thing will make it more fun

As long as the game is fun in the last 2 minutes then it's a good game. I mean in 04 in the last 2 minutes when your up it's almost impossible 2 score against the CPU.

I too will say "pretty good so far". I liked NBA Live 2005 so as long as NBA Live 06 is an improvement I think I'll be satisfied. However, I'd be much more hyped if I was hearing more about an expanded Dynasty Mode and didn't have a nagging concern that Freestyle Superstars might get a bit too overpowering even after slider tweaks. That said, I'm looking forward to the game.

I am also looking forward to the game, as I do every year. I enjoyed 2005 so like Andrew said, if 06 is better...I'll be happy.

I am looking forward to 06 it looks asthough EA are getting off the robotic movements of the players to more fluent and "raw" movements a person would actually make. I've also noticed some changes in the non superstar freestyle passing especially baseline and bounce passes are included. Alley oop passes have improved to a vary of styles as well which is nice. The commentary sounds great more realistic to as if you were watching a game on tv. I can't wait to actually play it.
