ginobilli is spanish because he was from argentina and argentina is a spanish country but its called argentina, and he's argentinan, but he's spanish because argenina is a spanish descendant, and people born in argentina are spanish because argenina is spanish but ginobilli is not spanish because he was born in argentina and argentina is not spain, but argentina is spanish but spanish people live in spain, the same way spanish people live in argentina, but argentina are argentinans and spanish people live in spain, but because argentina has spanish descendants, argentinans are spanish.

I just want to make a small "vindication" here: In the news (main page) of www.nba-live.com it says:

"The user streetballaz1 posted the French cover of NBA Live 06 in our forum; and it is, again, Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs. He also posted the cover for the Spanish version of the game in our forum."

No doubt about it. That webpage is just great, I've been following it closely since I discovered it!! With my information about the Spanish cover I just liked the idea to make a small contribution for that page.

Yes, in the Spanish version there has always been ONE ONLY commentator. First, it was Andrés Montes, and then Sixto Miguel Serrano. There should be TWO, I agree.

seems like the psp one is edited version of normal versions...i mean both the home and away jerseys on the covers say HEAT and one is supposed to say MIAMI

Gasol is a powerhouse in the NBA and a franchise type player... He is one of the best big men in the league...

i dont get a chance to see gasol much so i cant say hes overrated either. if anything the dude is underrated i mean memphis got very far last year and i know it wasnt cuz of jason williams regardless of how much he might have helped. hes probably just not a very marketable player to the US. maybe hes along the lines of a tim duncan as far as his play style. hopefully he gets more exposure in the nba this year. hes a good quality player in the video games so i would like to see wat he can do in real life

I find it strange that Gasol has basically had the same stats since he came into the league... he does dominate for his national team though. Something like 26/11.

Would you want the commentator in Spanish? I speak Spanish and English fluently but for NBA, the US commentators have been much better. When I see soccer games though, the Spanish and Portuguese commentators seem to be much better than American ones. (Dunno about British) I seriously prefer the Japanese Winning Eleven commentary which I can't understand at all, over the horrible commentary from Pro Evolution Soccer.

I think Gasol needs to be in a contending team, which is why people will think he's overrated. It's the same thing with Barkley until he moved to the Suns. Barkley didn't improve, he just went to a better team.

Look, if Argentina and Spain went against each other in the world cup and you yelled "Go Spain!" thinking they were both the same team with 200 Argentinians watching the game...good luck trying not to get stoned. (They will stone you, shoot you, stab you, etc. Same thing with Spain.)

gasol is on the cover, cause the spanish version is mostly oriented for the european spanish release. south america usually gets the games imported directly from the US, which actually makes sense cause it's nearer than europe.

No, I prefer USA commentators, but as they always translate it to Spanish, we have to listen that fucking Sixto. So, if I have to choose only between Daimiel & Andres, or Sixto--------------> NO DOUBT = Andres and Daimiel

He'd probably already be revealed to be a regional cover player for NBA Live 06 if he was going to be this year. Of course if it's the PC version, you could always order from the States since PC CD-ROMs aren't region specific thus avoiding the regional cover.

Just out of interest for those in countries that get them, are the regional covers limited editions or alternate editions that are available in addition to the regular box art, or is that the only one available to you?
