Im in chicago and i went to one of Walker's charity games and i wont lie the guy can ball hog like no other but i remember also wen he 1st went to dallas he was gettin near triple doubles and he has never had a dominate post player. After being in the league that long and never havin someone that can bang downlow for u im sure he will be grateful and try his hardest to make this work.

With J-Will lets not forget wen he had C-Webb he use to give him the ball and they were like the most exciting teams in the league to watch. Everyone is gonna jump on walker and j-will and say that they wont be able to make this work and i believe that will be there motivation to actually make it work. And dont sleep on Posey cause he seriously might make more of an impact that either of them.

As for live this heat team will definitely be a force to be reckoned with but they will be beatable even if a good live player has them cause like any team they will have weaknesses

I mostly agree. Can this powerhouse come together and win games to achieve the championship??? We will find out. I'm excited for this team now.

no powerhouse team have ever won a championship....Remember Houston with Scottie,Sir Charles,Clyde and Hakeem????Even in Live I think

Doubt they'll win a chip tho

i'm looking forward too see how jwill and toine are going to play without the ball and how they will react at beeing second to last options.

just one fact to show you:

lebron + wade + melo + AI + amare + duncan + marion + marbury + odom + jefferson + okafor .................. = BRONZE.

Wow, I no one could have said it better than that.... A+ :applaud:

Some of those guys named aint ballhogs
The reason why they got bronze wasnt cuz of ballhogs....They got bronze simply because they had no chem.. They could not play as a team because of the lack of experience they have playing together obviously

yeah so my question remains, who was scottie. scottie pippen never played on that houston team.

Fri Aug 12, 2005 9:53 pm

yeah he did. in 1999

Sun Aug 14, 2005 9:36 pm

I believe the point Sauru is making is that Scottie Pippen didn't play alongside Hakeem, Sir Charles and Clyde the Glide since Drexler retired in 1998. Pip did of course form a trio with Barkley and The Dream in the lockout season of '99.

The only ballhog on the Heat is Antoine Walker, and he's gotten better since the first time Boston had him, which is where most of the criticism comes from. Jason Williams used to be too careless with the ball, but that is completely untrue now. Shaq isn't a ballhog. Dwyane isn't a ballhog. Posey and Haslem definetely aren't ballhogs.

And it's not like they're the Olympic team or something. They have three potential All-Stars (Shaq, Wade, and Walker) and Walker probably won't make it. The Wizards had three potential All-Stars (Arenas, Hughes, Jamison.) Plus Posey is a great defender, Haslem can board and play D, Damon Jones can shoot, J-Will is a good, steady ball distributer. I'm confident that he Spurs can match that, the Pistons can match that, and various other teams can step up too. That being said, I still think they will win a ring this season.

well they are about to get Michael Finley as well.

so that makes two superstars (shaq, wade) 2 all-star calibur players (finley, walker)... and one hell of a supporting cast. ok maybe Finley isnt all-star calibur right now but hes just a notch below... and always has the potential to eat you alive in any game...

u cant act like just because a player makes the all-star team LAST year that hes better than all-star calibur players like antoine walker for example . who are just as good. its about being on that all-star level and Walker is DEFINATELY at that level. Finley is just a notch below but still can catch fire fast and is DEADLY. so yeah.. have fun playin the Heat this year in videogames lol.. i'm sure the other NBA teams aren't going to have fun in real life

Michael Finley's been rumoured to almost every team in the league.

1. REAL LIFE- Miami would be foolish to start anyone but Haslem @the 4. Shaq needs a defender & rebounder alongside him. Otherwise Heat would get abused!

Oh, and USA lost because a) they couldnt make a perimeter shot b) they didnt play defense

2. NBA LIVE- Finally a powerhouse team in the East (since i play Detroit i never face them). Gives me a challenge in the playoffs!
