simulate 12-min quarter stats?

Is there a way to simulate 12-min quarter stats when you're playing 8-min quarters? There was an option like this in Live 2001, but I don't see it here. I'm playing 8-min quarter on All-Star level, and my team is scoring about 98 PPG, and allowing 89PPG, but all the other team scored 60-80 PPG on average! Apparently it's not simulating 12-min quarters for the other teams.

Of course it is just before beginning the season you should put 12 minutes.
The 8 minutes quarters must be selected in the options menu!

yup, that goes well for me too 
but the problem i found will be the players' minutes on the court. since for example you'll only be playing for 32 minutes in total, the players' playing time will hover only up to let's say 24-28 minutes, whereas their counterparts around the league can play 30+ minutes in a 48 minute CPU simulation. Please enlighten me on this...
