A probable solution to the slow loading time...

Sun Mar 16, 2003 10:47 pm

I don't know if it'll work for yours but hey why not give it a try..

In the detail settings, try lowering the texture detail to say medium. keep the other settings to a medium or low setting but can make players and benches maximum.

When I've tried it in mine. Loading only took a few seconds. If you still see a little slowdown, try lowering the players and benches a bit. Hope this works for you all...

Tell me if it does...

That might work, but not all pc's are capable of handling that.

tsk tsk... got me excited there...

Ingame doesn't load slow anyway...it's the menu... changing the detail settings wont change how it is in the menu...but i'll still try it...

p.s. Did it work for you?

yes it did, 'coz b4 loading took about 5 mins if i'm lucky. But when I lowered the texture settings it took about less than a minute then the cut scene showed instantly whereas b4 i use to hear the cheering 20 secs b4 the cut scene appears. and the menus also was not slow now.

Nah, it was just me refreshing the page trying to figure out if all that you said makes any sense, but it doesn't

well to those that didn't understand....

In your detail settings, try to lower the texture detail to medium. See if that shortens the loading time and makes menu and cut scenes appear more faster. "sigh"
