It's game. Xbox720 can do it..
Thu Jun 30, 2005 7:22 am
It can indeed, but this is not the xbox360( or for you KASro 720) version becose that is not availeble yet. even not for EA. They made this clip with hardware that is about the same as what the xbox will be getting. So what we see here is what it could be but this is not ingame.

I wish they'd stop releasing this shit and just show us some actual plain in game footage. No close ups of players sweating all over the place, no G-Unit just 2 fat programmers playing the game on a dodgy TV screen.

The graphics is looking as awesome as before, and the player/ball physics is looking awesome as well.
The actuall player movement was also a thing that I think is looking great. All the little movements with the arms Lewis did and so on. I'm getting excited again over the game...
I agree the commentary actually used stats and stuff from the game and I would like to see the same type of commentatory for the PC and other consoles.

Wrong, even though the commercial they showed wasn't actual people playing the game (pre-rendered) it is actually in-game graphics. As a matter of fact it was playable at E3 this year, showcasing the new free throw system (the only thing you could do was shoot free throws), but the graphics were just the same as that commercial.

thx man for the videos...the music is awsoeme...but that...omg that.again in 06...WHEN AK47(Andrei Kirilinko)dunk he got the finger up...that suck!!!

This is the same game (mean pistons vs sonics) they showed at the E3 why?
Thu Jun 30, 2005 4:23 pm
My guess is because they already had the footage to show.
Thu Jun 30, 2005 6:56 pm
u're right, parts of this footage was used for that EA SPORTS trailor they had out a few months ago.

There is no way Ray Allen will ever get a game-winning put back dunk against the Pistons. He's too soft and the Pistons are too good on the boards.
It looked good otherwise.

I think this HAS TO BE really close to ingame graphic, otherwise EA would get sued for false/misleading advertising. They simply cannot show something and then sell something different. I didn't see any "warning" saying "This is not the actual game".
I've read somewhere that next-gen games are currently being runned on newest Machintos Processors, and not the actual console, but I've also read the X-Box 360 hardware will be as powerfull as those processors.
Anyways, I was particularly impressed when I saw Allen shaking the ball with his hands up high before passing it to the low post...that looked damn real! Can't wait!!

So it was real?
Did they edit this?

You're joking, right? EA getting sued for showing a cinema scene instead of ingame footage? If that was the case, EA would be bankrupt by now

Most game demos, whether they're playable or just a video generally have a notice that the demo might not accurately portray the final product.
Sat Jul 02, 2005 3:16 pm
it's great to see commercials, etc. but it always best to reserve opinions until you actually play the game for yourself.
Sat Jul 02, 2005 5:00 pm
Absolutely. I've got some reservations about Freestyle Superstars as there's potential there for it to be too overpowering but I'd like to remain optimistic about it and won't be making any final decisions about it until I get my hands on the game.

So does anyone know will there be a demo version for NBA Live 06 on PC?
Sat Jul 02, 2005 7:14 pm
I don't think there will be one. Many years we don't have Live demos for PC...

My guess is there won't be one, though I'd certainly prefer it if there was.
