it's hard for a shorter guy against a taller guy in the game.....dunno why
but in reverse it's easier for a taller guy facing a shorter guy
so for AI......feel sorry for him

Yea I was amazed at the mag when I first saw it. AI should've been tough enough to go against the softer Yao
Next game I should get them, hopefully

Rapper Percy Miller Dream Comes True
PHILADELPHIA, December 7 -- What is the present for the man that has everything? For Master P, it's wearing an NBA uniform. Master P will likely make more money this year than Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Garnett, the NBA's two highest paid players, combined. The rap star, whose real name is Percy Miller, is the CEO of the overwhelmingly successful No Limit Enterprises. Along with making his fans say his catch-phrase, "Uhh," Master P has made many movies, starred in many movies and even has his own clothing line "P. Miller" and toy doll. All these accomplishments for Miller stemmed from wisely using e $10,000 gift from his grandfather as a young adult after spending much of his life living in poverty in the New Orleans projects. And since the 35-year-old has figured out a way to come from nothing to more than something, he believes he believed that he could make his NBA dream come true which is what happened. The Philadelphia 76ers signed Percy Miller on Wednesday, December 7. He decided to try and make the big jump from the rap game to the NBA once again as his previous try failed with the Raptors 4 years ago. Before the pre-season started, he lasted in the summer league for 7 games and was waived afterwards by the team. He averaged 2.2ppg in 4 mpg, but he did show shades of talent. With the 76ers looking for a solid backup point guard to compliment Allen Iverson off the bench, they weren’t looking to make any deals so after they found out how much Miller was in shape from working out the past year, they decided to give him a look. “He came in and we made him do some drills, shoot 100 jumpers in a certain amount of time and he impressed,” Sixers coach Jim O’Brien said.

"I never had nothing," Miller said. "I had to go out there and do something for my family, and the music stuff blew up for me. I come from a poor family. I had to do what I (needed) to take care of them. Now I got that straight, I want to do something I like while I can still do it." The 6-foot-4 Miller was on his way to playing basketball at the University of Houston when a knee injury changed his direction. Instead, Miller put his energy into the rap game and it more than paid off. But while rap is his claim to fame, you can see in many of his videos that basketball is a major love in his life. Miller said previously he didn't have the mentality to play in the NBA. But after spending last summer playing against the likes of all-stars Baron Davis, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce in Los Angeles and All-Star Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Sam Cassell in Houston and working hard by losing over 95 pounds to slim down into a healthier NBA body, Master P says he is ready to go from the rap stage to the NBA hardwood. "I've been able to play with those guys and hold my own," Miller said. "I think basketball is about confidence. You go out there and see all the people and miss one shot, and you lose your confidence. But when you look at the franchise players, they miss a shot and they keep on playing. The confidence I have on the stage with my music really helps me now." Rap fans might go to games to see Master P in an NBA uniform. But what about basketball purists? Many would think it's a joke -- a publicity stunt. Master P, however, could care less about the skeptics. He's confident he would get the last laugh. "The positive is what I can bring to the community and the kids," Miller said. "I think I can fill the seats up. Even though basketball isn't about that, it would make the game more fun knowing the gym is packed when you're playing at home. I can bring a spark plug to the club. I'm a wild-energy-type person." Miller plans on making his debut tomorrow night when the Sixers face the Washington Wizards.

WIZARDS VS. 76ERS
Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, 7:30 p.m., EST
TV, radio: Comcast SportsNet; UPN 57
Records: Wizards, 7-10; Sixers, 11-7
KEY MATCHUP: GILBERT ARENAS VS. ALLEN IVERSON
Arenas is the type of point guard that can post you up, shoot the jumper, penetrate hard to the basket or dish the ball with ease. He can basically do it all. He leads the Wizards in scoring with 20.4ppg and assists with 6.8apg. Iverson will have to watch getting caught in the post with Arenas, but he should be able to handle him on the outside despite the height difference. Iverson was named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for November as well.
INSIDE THE 76ERS
Tonight will be the first regular season NBA game for rap artist, Percy Miller, a.k.a., Master P. He is expected to backup Iverson off the bench and the team really believe in this guy and what he can do. He is definitely in great shape at 195 pounds. He is also expected to wear his signature shoes, called the P. Miller Hustlas.
INSIDE THE WIZARDS
The Rockets lost their superstar, Tracy McGrady on the 1st of December against the Sacramento Kings. He is expected to be out another week and so far, they are 1-0 without him. Yao Ming has shown signs of becoming a great player, averaging 22.1ppg and 11.6rpg for the Rockets.

The Sixers are now 1-0 with Percy Miller on the team
PHILADELPHIA, December 8 (Ticker) -- Allen Iverson stole the spotlight from Jarvis Hayes. Iverson stole Hayes' inbounds pass and with the Sixers down 103-102, and 4.7 seconds remaining, he took the ball from half court and heaved a deep 3-point attempt that hit the front of the rim and the backboard then in with just 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime, giving the Philadelphia 76ers to a 105-103 victory over the Washington Wizards. Before the Sixers got their 2nd game-winner in the last 5 games, Iverson cut in front of Gilbert Arenas, stole the ball and beat him downcourt to shoot the long ball. "I kind of figured that they were trying to give Gilbert the ball, so they could get some kind of penetration from him," Iverson said. "It seemed like Hayes couldn't get the ball in and he got kind of panicky. I just stayed as close to Arenas as I could. Once Hayes threw it, my eyes lit up. I knew I had it."
Despite his share of shooting difficulties after a 16-point first half, Iverson produced 29 points on 12-of-23 shooting, 8 assists, 7 rebounds and 6 steals. "Iverson is an all-NBA player and he made an all-NBA play," said Wizards coach Eddie Jordan. "It would have been tough to get a foul unless it's really a hack. It just bad execution on our part, but he makes those type of plays." Iverson's steal and 3-pointer upstaged the clutch efforts of Arenas, who drilled a 3-pointer with McCants in his face at the regulation horn to tie the score at 90-90. "It was two seconds on the clock when I got the ball," Arenas said. "I got the ball, and I knew I had time for one more dribble. I tried to jump and get squared. When I got in the air, I put it up."
The night ended with an exciting play, but all eyes were still on Percy Miller who made his first NBA game debut with the Sixers. He scored 2 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and dished out an assist in 9 minutes of play. “Tonight, I finally got a taste of actually NBA action and it was the real thing and not any preseason type of stuff, I really enjoyed playing and I’m already getting use to the game,” Miller said. “I wasn’t expecting a lot of PT tonight, but it’s up to me to work my way into the rotation and my teammates were able to get a good win tonight against Washington.” Antawn Jamison, who scored 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, was one of two Wizards with a double-double. Former first pick, Kwame Brown also had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
