doesn't really look like wade.. nor does it look like ray ray in the vid.. they can have all of the polygons and rendering effects in the world, but if the facial accuracy isn't there it's all for naught.. for instance live 2005's version of wade is more accurate than the picture above
as long as EA release propper dev tools (which they rarely do) then patching will never die.. the patchers will have to get 1337er though..

Yes, the better NBA Live gets, the better the patchers have to get. But, there will always be room for improvement...no matter how good EA gets!

if they're smart they'll play into the hands of the patchmaker.. it was refreshing to hear Will Wright (creator of the sims), a guy who carries a lot of clout at EA (as one of their major bread winners) saying (in reference to his upcoming game spore) that the greatest untapped resource in the games industry is the drive of game enthusiasts to create their own custom content.. It makes pretty damn good sense to me that you should empower people who are going to donate their time free of charge to improve your game..

That's not true, at least for cyberface patchers. 2005 was extremely easy to "patch" (I say that because most patches seem not too much better than EA's).

Well the reason 2004 was so good patching-wise, was because a few people developed great tools for us. If we'd have these tools today, patching for 2005 would be so much better.
