Used to be the best, now it's just in the top 5... :( I remember the days of 'Nique and Peja playing here...

yeah, I thought that might be the case, am a bit behind on the times

SG- Honor Glow - 90.6% FG (11th in NBA)

   How many attempts does he have???

not sure, but to have a percentage like that you would assume that he's at least had over 100 attempts  hmm...that can't be right :?

Probably. If someone is 90% from thefield and is ranked 11th in the league, then this league is having a serious steroid problem... I sense Congress hearings coming up...

NLSC UPDATE

We already know who's doing well (Seraph and Mark #6), but who would be doing the best if they got meaningful minutes?!? Well I'm gonna use Honor Glow's infamous "Tool" (I really think he should give it a name) to work out who is the best, per-minute NLSC Player in the League.

RANKINGS

1. PG- Leo "Seraph" Reyes (LAL) - 0.35 Bpts/min

2. PG- Mark Moore (Phi) - 0.32 Bpts/min

3. PG- Will Sit (Orl) - 0.29 Bpts/min

4. C- Makis "Dweaver" Hassakis (Pho) - 0.23 Bpts/min

4. PG- Paul Watson (LAC) - 0.23 Bpts/min

6. SG- Andrew "The X" Watson (Cha) - 0.21 Bpts/min

7. SG- Jing "jxuusa" Xu (Sea) - 0.19 Bpts/min

8. SG- Russel "Micchy_boy" Santos (Mil) - 0.19 Bpts/min

9. SG- Honor Glow (Hou) - 0.17 Bpts/min

10. SG- Silva "Melo" Biason (Was) - 0.15 Bpts/min

10. PG- Cocobee (Por) - 0.15 Bpts/min

So according to Honor Glow's infamous "Tool", the most efficient player is Seraph, who narrowly beat out Mark #6 and Sit.

hmm....looks like the right guys are getting the minutes by the looks of it :o

cheers, looks like playoffs are finally in the picture....

as for Dweaver, that brilliant ghost-like cyberface was the work of none other than me :P I thought I'd bring out Dweaver's vampire-like personality in the face

cheers....but don't be so fast to write off everyone as Mark #6 (seems strange to say these days) is making a charge at NLSC supremacy....

cheers....yep, team is doing well....and I thought you'd like that game, it was by far your best to date....I'm expecting a breakout Soph year from both you and jxuusa

cheers for comments guys....good to get a few more :P

Sun May 15, 2005 1:25 pm

Now that MArk has a starting spot... he's gonna give Leo a rn for his money!

Sun May 15, 2005 1:31 pm

I'd have to concur with that ^^^

was surprised by the efficiency scores, as I thought they would not be in the order of minutes and production....I thought you might be higher which you were, but I thought guys like Micchy_boy and jxuusa would be higher....I'm expecting breakout sophomore years from a couple of players....I wonder who they will be :?:

Sun May 15, 2005 1:36 pm

the only thing efficient bout me is shooting...

Sun May 15, 2005 1:40 pm

I guess you're learning off guys like Cat on how to chuck it up as quick as possible

Sun May 15, 2005 1:46 pm

lol... we practise with blindfolds in training.. and we have dunk comps too... i use a trampoline! (Y)

And to Dweaver... would u like to be on a team together... if so...
to X: can it be arranged?

Sun May 15, 2005 2:08 pm

Damn, I love reading this dynasty, it's very entertaining to read... I wish my dynasty was half as good as this....

Anyway, this is one heck of a dynasty man, I love the NLSC ballers and how there are so many updates on it. (Y) I can't wait for the next update man, keep up the good work! (Y)

nah, your's is all good....just keep it original, put your own spin on things and you'll be alright....I think dynasties are only as good as the members that contribute to them....

get yourself a cyberface if possible and you can go into '08 class if you wish

You Were the Chosen One!!! wrote:to X: can it be arranged?

as I've said numerous times, I'll re-evaluate things after the off-season and see how player movements affect PT....but as of next season, I'm open to NLSC player movement....if you can come up with a trade next season that is fair for both teams and everyone else deems it to be fair, I'll do it

Sun May 15, 2005 8:39 pm

Sure thing... as long as there's a full warehouse in the vivinity of the arena, it's all good... Detroit is still the prime choice...

CATS HOLDING ON FOR THEIR DEAR LIVES

I've lacked motivation lately, but managed to motivate myself enough to do the first 3 game recap for March 2007.

Mar 1, 2007 - Charlotte 119 @ Dallas 107 [INTERVENTION GAME]

At half-time and trailing by 17 points, it did not look good. But a superb 2nd half in which the team put up 75 points was enough to win this one on the road in big D. This win moves the Bobcats to 24-21. Bobby Simmons was the standout player for the 'Cats, and he got strong support from Marko Jaric, Nene and Emeka Okafor. A good win to strengthen the team's playoff grip.

Image
Emeka Okafor threw his weight around, first leaving Shawn Bradley helpless and looking for a hand

Other pics:
Okafor terrorises poor rooke Lawrence Roberts as this could spell the end of the poor guy's career
Okafor posts up 2nd year forward Augustine Sorrell, who seemed to care more about his 'fro than the job at hand
It's Nene Time as he raises the roof in Big D

BPMM Points: Simmons 3pts, Okafor 2pts, Jaric 1pt

Mar 2, 2007 - Charlotte 76 @ Boston 91 [SIMMED GAME]

This was a pathetic showing by the team as they thoroughly deserved to be blown away by an average Celtics' team. This loss drops the Bobcats to a 24-22 record.

BPMM Points: Van Exel 3pts, Walton 2pts, Dumars 1pt

Mar 5, 2007 - Charlotte 93 @ San Antonio 105 [HUMAN GAME]

If you take out the 2nd quarter debacle, the Bobcats won this game by 7 points. Unfortunately we can not do this and therefore the 'Cats drop another game and fall to only one game above .500, at 24-23. The Spurs were just too classy in this one and thoroughly deserved the win. Charlotte did pretty well to stage a huge 4th quarter comeback and get to within 5 points of the defending champs, but Manu Ginobili proved too much on this night as he lit the Bobcats up for 25 points as they couldn't take advantage of a gimpy Tim Duncan.

Image
The hustle of Brent Barry exemplified the Spurs' heart and desire in this win

Other pics:
"It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's "Our Guy" throwing everything, including the kitchen sink to try and stop Duncan
Fancy some air mail, G.A.-style?!?
Jump on the Honky Tonk Express as the white boyz lead the fastbreak

BPMM Points: Arenas 3pts, Nene 2pts, Okafor 1pt

that's all for today....

enjoy

The X's(or whatever he likes to call himself these days..he he) Dynasty module is on display!(…well at least the beta version…)

:?: Do you find sometimes hard to keep up with The X's dynasty?
:?: Do you ever wonder what was his favorite trade? Or favorite scrub player??
:?: At times, wouldn't you like to have at least on single module that summarized his Dynasty's Highs and Lows?

Well look no further! I have found such a place!

The X and I have been working back and forth, mainly forth, on this…so he gets as much blame/credit for the project!

Soon, this will be eligible for all GM's who participate on the BirdieBoard… eventually the Stats tab and a video tab will be included! ...any feedback via PM would be appreciated.

Speaking of which…The X…where's my video screenshots!

Nice pics, especially the one with Okafor swatting Bradley's stuff  Tough 3-game skid though, and I was surprised to see you lose to San Antonio by double digits in the human game. Just couldn't get enough points from the starters.

This really ad a memo to u'r dynasty, will be great for all GM.

Fri May 20, 2005 7:57 am

hey Honor, it's still X....I was just going with Star Wars theme like a few others, but have converted back since a few people didn't know it was me....

as for the dynasty synopsis, it's all working well and will be a great addition to NBA Live dynasties....one question, where's that Gilbert Arenas' team MVP picture I sent you....it doesn't seem to be in that slideshow....give G.A's his dues

as for the slideshow, yeah, I've had quite a few things going on in my life so haven't had a chance to play Live in a while....but will try and get you some movie or something....what do I use? I have fraps....do I just take a pic every few secs or what?!?

Nice pics, especially the one with Okafor swatting Bradley's stuff Tough 3-game skid though, and I was surprised to see you lose to San Antonio by double digits in the human game. Just couldn't get enough points from the starters.

yeah, I like that Bradley pic too....as for the Spurs, they were just too much for me I guess....a class team....I made nice 4th quarter comeback, but Manu exposed my weak SG position :( funnily enough, I made the comeback when The X was on the floor....even though he didn't score, he contained Manu....

good to get a comment though....
cheers
