I tried creating myself. Why didn't it work?

I used the tutorial from here http://www3.sk.sympatico.ca/datkings/tutorials.htm

The thing is I'm not replacing a face, I tried creating one.

I created myself in the game and edited the dbf files from iscreated and isgenerated to false.

The I extracted the .fsh of player. Used fshtool to get the .bmp's. Edited them to myself. Edited the index file so that it created a fsh with my name and then I placed my folder in program files/nba live 2003/render/xplayer.

I ran the game and I didn't have the face. Where have I gone wrong.

u also gotta edit the player package ,
to have your 1st two letters of your 1st name and the 1st 5letters of your sirname
then make a folder with those same letters

Yeah I forgot to mention I did that. Changed the playerpkg to what you said.

Any other reasons why it didn't work.

I extracted rebraca face (fsh file) and edited him face. Saved all of them as .bmp's in all 4 sizes. Updated index.fsh to create my name folder and put it in the xplayer folder within render.

Just incase that made more sense than the first time I explained it.
