Whats up. If you want to have your game run faster of just so that choppyness deacreases get the new NVidia 42.70 driver from guru3d.com
its the best driver. Even my comptuer and when programs load better.
the nba live 2003 game loads faster and it does not matter about enabeling costume 1. it loads faster now

Isn't it fast enough? We need to tweak it to make it slower!

can you help me with that... I downloaded 42.70 and there is only non-executable files in the zip file... what do I do with it...

Perhaps the game goes a bit faster but THERE IS NO WAY your computer overall is working faster and better.
Sat Feb 01, 2003 7:23 am
actually there is......drivers react with different computers and different setups differently........so it all depends. it could make his a LOT better, and just make yours a little better, you never know.

This is true. For example, before i downloaded this driver, i used to have frames per second delays and now the frams have increase by 5. I am getting about 39-45 frames now.
Plus by overclocking my card it even got better
Sat Feb 01, 2003 2:04 pm
can u give me exect link to the file?? coz i cant find it, and does this mean i am over clocking my card???

If you only download the detinator 42.70 it is not overclocking but if you download the program riva tuner you will be allow to overclock. here is the link and read though it so you know what you are doing.

it's not a official driver, is it?
Sun Feb 02, 2003 9:16 am
No, it is not a official driver but it was tested with the new Nvidia2 and the card passed the test. For me although, this is the best driver yet. The old 40.72 is gone for me because it was the driver i used last, but now i am using the 42.70
Sun Feb 02, 2003 12:14 pm
Well where did you get it?
Sun Feb 02, 2003 5:54 pm
you can find it at
www.guru3d.com in the download section

i have a geforce4mx440. will your driver work for me? am using det.41.04, used 41.09 before and both resulted in an off centered menu for nba live 2003 though normal in other games.
spec:
AMD Duron 850 ( oc to 935)
256 sdram
64 mb gf4mx440
win xpprosp1
upgrading from my tnt2m64 and gf2mx400, performance is better. though am not sure if its with the driver.

Not really. Video drivers only affect the speed and effectiveness at which video files, commands, and displays are processed. This will ONLY affect your FPS and video compatibilities. Video drivers wilil have NO effect (barring unusual system file fragmentation) on CPU, RAM, and HD intensive, non-video processes, like loading programs in Windows.

I think it should work but if you want to check if it will work, go to guru3d.com and select the card you have and download it. If you have a geforce nvidia, it will work but i dont know about the other once.
