@PatTheHead
Let me clarify; the ranking out of 30 that appears in play now, which there are three of: off, def, overall. Here's a link to the image I am talking about

I know what you mean. you want a powerranking like in asso.
you can order the 30 teams the way I mentioned above.
before you order teams in excel file, check ingame which team is the best offensive team, the second best, third, etc....
then order teams in excel file with that (offensive) ranking seen ingame.

So if it's for 2k14, I should still use Reditor? Is that part of the process?

@cooperkids6
YES, you need Reditor.
first copy the whole row of all the teams in an excel file.
as soon as you have ordered teams, paste teams back in tab "teams".
then check for players in tab "players".
you have to order players in Reditor, too.

Ok, final clarification: specifically Reditor over RED MC? Crazy

use that version: RED Modding Center

Wait, wouldn't that just order the teams in the way they are presented from first to last when you toggle through them, and not the actual Off-def-overall rankings?
Thanks for your quick responses.

they are fixed in use ingame.
the game uses different logos for roster background, season or asso. mod, etc.
you can't switch logo.iff files with Red Mc.

if you want to switch just one logo from "logos_large.iff" to "logos_tiny.iff" use tool "3DM NBA2K".
but you have to do it manually.

if you want to replace all logos just rename "logos_large.iff" to "logos_tiny.iff" and "logos_tiny.iff" to "logos_large.iff" .
you also have to rename "logos_large.cdf" to "logos_tiny.cdf".
I think that's what you want.

each team has logos in "logos_large.iff", "logos_medium.iff", "logos_small.iff" and "logos_tiny.iff".
but don't forget the main logos.
Philadelphia is "logo000", Milwaukee is "logo001", Washington is "logo002", Chicago is "logo003" and so on.....
I guess these are the ones you see in team select.

you need to exchange the main logos, too.

the first button on the left of 3DM 2K is to open iff files.
the second button on the left "saves" changes.
push second button as soon as you made changes. that saves your changes.
