About Sound effects

So I downloaded 2k11 because I was bored, and I found that 2k11 actually has some interesting sound effects, as in sounds when the ball hits the rim, etc. I have sfx.iff files from 2k11 and I intent to move some of the cool sound effects to 2k14. However I don’t know how to edit sfx.iff files. Could anyone who is familiar with editing sound effects tell me how to do it? Or if you are interested in this project, I am happy to share 2k11 sfx.iff files with y’all.
