Aleczou has made it possible to change the tool's language to English. Sport.Swami has allegedly been helping Aleczou with translating the tool, so it should (at least) be partially translated, which is great news for everyone. Big shout out to him once again!
Changing the "English" value in Setting.ini to "1", will enable the English version of the trainer.

IMPORTANT - READ THIS:
Listen everyone. The reason why the trainer may be working buggy in some cases, is because those who are constantly connected to the 2k servers, will constantly be receiving new updates. These updates will be stored in your "Online Data" folder under C:\Users\(Useraccount)\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2k14. These updates have obviously changed several memory addresses and have resulted in making the tool somewhat buggy.
This has been hinted before in this thread, but If you'd like to enjoy all the features of the trainer, make sure you're NOT CONNECTED to the servers and completely REMOVE the Online Data folder.

Credit goes to members spartanflame, TGsoGood, gammy, Lottos and to Sports.Swami and brump in particular for attempting to translate this great trainer. Without their efforts, we'd be stuck trying to figure out how to use this foreign tool/trainer. Big shout out and thanks to everyone contributing in this thread.
The aforementioned members were kind enough to provide us with lots of goodies. Below you'll find several screenshots (including detailed descriptions of the screenshots) of translated tabs and options of the trainer.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Settings (first boot)
Will pop-up the first time you boot. Can be changed by clicking the Settings button on the home screen (see "Home Screen" image)
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Settings error message
If you didn't fill out the settings right, you'll get this.
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Home screen
After initial setup, this is what you'll see.
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Players — 1. Player Info
Players section, first tab, "Player Info".
Sports.Swami: "Did most of this before I realized TGsoGood had done a majority of that screen already.
2 or 3 of the fields I was unsure of, so I cheated off his work rather than figure it out myself.
So credit for this one gets split between me and TGsoGood (of the NLSC forums).
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Players — 2. Appearance (expanded)
Players section, 2nd tab, "Appearance".
Sports.Swami: "*23* of the 28 text fields for this section were already translated by TGsoGood (of the NLSC forums). I just had to confirm the ones that didn't have numerical values. That means **82%** of the credit belongs to him."
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Players — 3. Statistics
These should all be self-explanatory; all would have numerical values, of course.
They single-season stats all have *1* value. You can't edit how many points they scored in 2003, you can only pick which player's year's stats you want your player to have.
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Players — 4. Attributes
Sports.Swami: "Everything (except for the 2 pieces of blue text) was translated by spartanflame (of NLSC).
I just had to confirm it, which took all of 5 seconds each."
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Players — 7. Signature
Translated by member Lottos. Very self-explanatory and easy to understand.
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Players — 8. Contract
Translated by member Lottos. Incomplete thusfar, but the image should clear up nearly everything.
[ Image ]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GamePlay - Game Sliders
Self explanatory. Translated by member gammy and edited by member Lottos to fit into one image.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Translation completely re-done by member brump. Thanks to him and his great efforts. If anyone's willing to create screenshots out of his work, that would be great, but until then, his great work should suffice:brump wrote:[ Image ]

I guess that's the end of my part and the beginning of someone else who knows enough about programming to get the trainer to work. The purpose of me doing this is not that people can switch back and forth clumsily to check which is which, but that to allow someone to put everything together to make a working, english trainer just like last year. Let's hope we could have one soon. Peace.
