Why when I edit player his overall make a 10 smaller. It's catastrofical. I can't edit Bonzi WELLS fro SF to SG, because from 85 overall he becomes 75. What's the problem??????????

look at this
if u put a C like Shaq to a PG, he loses ratings because he is too big and wouldn't keep up with all other PG. duh.. so he is a low rated PG if u change him. lol. but who would.

I gave you another example with bonzi wells... OK. I can give another example: I edit MJ 3PT 8 points higher. After the operation his owerall becomes 71(before operation 81).

Are you by any chance using DK's or any other TWEAKED roster? if so then thats your problem, you can change the overall rating back to the one before you edited by using NBA Live Toolkit or anyother dbf viewer program. The problem is that when you edit the ratings ingame (which none of teh roster patchers do) the players ratings get recalculated. What roster patchers do is they tweak the ratings outside of the game using Toolkit or something and don't mess with the overall rating. So all you need to do is to edit the ratings using Toolkit.
Believe me anyone who uses a tweaked roster have this problem when editing the ratings in the game.
But if you're not using tweaked rosters, then i have no clue what the problem is....

OK. You really helped me. But why can't DK to make players' overalls as real as they are. I mean If Bonzi Wells has 85 (in DK's Tweaked) than why can't he make his 74. Kobe Bryant's 84 and so on.......

Because it would take alot of work to go into the player editor and edit every single player to get their OVR ratings correct.
