Installing roster and other mods?

Wed Jul 25, 2018 5:50 pm

I'm not able to have both an updated roster with the new rookies and their cyberfaces, as well as regular NBA player's cyberfaces and scoreboard mods at the same time. Can someone please help me figure this out?

I installed the "Real Draft 2018" Mod Pack, and copied in these two files "canshu.ini" and "dinput8.dll" from the "Real 2018 Draft" folder to the 2K18 directory. I then downloaded a roster from the 2K servers, and everything was fine. I had all the rookies with their cyberfaces. However, I realised that my scoreboard mods weren't working, and all of the cyberfaces that I had installed for regular NBA players had reverted back to 2K's original player models.

It's worth noting that when I copied the "canshu.ini" and "dinput8.dll" files from the "Real 2018 Draft" folder it said that there were already files in the directory with the same name and I could either skip or replace them. I replaced them, and as I stated earlier, the rookie cyberfaces worked.

Anyway, I went ahead and tried to find the reason why my scoreboard mods/nba player cf's weren't working with the new roster installed, so I backed out, and reinstalled the files from the "ModdedFolder2K18" folder. The files I'm talking about are the original "Modded" folder where you place your cyberfaces, and the two other files "2K18WAIGUADLL.dll" and "dinpu8.dll". Again it asked me to replace the existing files (which I believe were installed by the 2018 Draft Class download), and I did it.

Loaded up 2K18, and bam. My scoreboard/NBA player mods worked, but my rookies had random cyberfaces of old legends. I'm baffled by this, does anyone have a solution?

I'd ideally like to have my rookies with their cyberfaces, my scoreboard mods and everything working.

I'd really appreciate the feedback, cheers guys.

i don't know that happens but the only reason I know is he changed the number of the cf to correspond to the modders' roster creation.

Just combine your "waigua" and "modded" folders. I think what is happening is that the game is trying to decide between the two. My Real 2018 Roster had the waigua folder because that way I could force portraits for the rookies. Add your scoreboard and other cyberface mods to the waigua folder and just use that as a "modded" folder or vice versa.

That worked perfectly mate, thank you for the response! Thanks for the Draft Class too, it's perfect.
