2018-2019 Real Roster w/Rookies UPDATED AS OF 8/2/2018

By the way in the first season, 2018 drafted players and 2017 drafted players were seen as Rookies so don't know if anything wrong there.

You need to add a one more year for all 17-18 Rookies in Moficated Player.

Yeah, the contract values are all sorts of messed up in this roster. Hopefully these can get fixed for the free agency update. Tons of players have $0 contract value that shouldn't, which means they can't be traded in MyLeague mode. The roster is basically unplayable in its current state, which is a bummer cuz I got hella hyped when I saw this.

I appreciate the help, but I don't think I will be continuing this project due to the fact that there are other great modders out here with the same project. I'm sure no one will use this roster after bluejaybrandon and Shuajota upload their rosters. Thanks for the feedbacks though!

I went ahead and fixed up the contract values for this roster myself. The way 2k handles this in the player editor is a bit janky and frustrating, but I did the best I could.

If anyone wants to use it, my user id is "Rastrillador de la Luna".

One notable glitch is that the 1st offseason's draft is glitched; you will most likely not be able to select a player yourself the game will default to showing whomever your team selected in the 2018 draft if there is a 2018 draft pick on your roster. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.

EDIT: Updated this morning to include the Isaiah Thomas to the Nuggets signing, the Faried/Arthur/Whitehead/Lin trade, and a few players that I'd missed adding back to the rosters (Davon Reed, Tyler Lydon, etc.). - 7/13/18 (7:02AM)

So if I were to start up a new MyLeague, what would be the best way to do it: Start Today, or the normal beginning of season of MyLeague, and have play through the 2018 season again?

What I've been doing is using the normal beginning of season and I just use an auto-generated rookie class for the first season so that I can just skip that year's draft. I'm not sure how to get a custom roster to work with "Start Today" so I haven't tested that approach myself. Give it a shot and let me know what happens.

Also, I've updated the roster with the Kawhi trade, the Melo trade (he is assigned to the Rockets since all indications say that's where he's headed), the Sac/Memphis trade, the Marcus Smart signing. Nemanja Bjelica and Isaiah Whitehead are now free agents.

I've never modded but thought I would use this as a base file to create my own roster for personal use. Unfortunately I think you may have deleted players rather than releasing to free agency. This means that certain players are not in the game at all now. Also contracts are funky or non existent and lineups a little funky (matter of opinion only)

Not wanting to be negative, but I am not sure why you would release this file in its current form. Basically taking someones hard work (draft class) and patching together a roster that doesn't really work.

It's not negative, it's the truth. This was hastily done from the beginning to capitalize on the use of draft class rookies. The result is a very inaccurate product. I know there is a user attempting to make the correct roster moves but when the base is broken, the problems just get passed down.

Anyways, updated my version to include the Yogi Ferrell and Nmanja Bjelica signings in Sacramento (#represent), the Nets/Suns trade, Richaun Holmes to the 76ers, the Jonah Bolden signing, and the Michael Beasley signing (LeBron straight up assembled the Shaqtin Superteam).

Lmao. Wow. No idea how the staffing got so messed up in Prax's roster. Mike D'Antoni isn't even the coach of the Rockets. A bunch of actual coaches got slotted in as GM's somehow.

Anyways, I've updated the roster to fix the coaching staff situation. Every organization should have it's correct coach now.

Also updated the roster to include the Montrezl Harrell signing (Teodosic is a free agent now, since reports indicate that he is likely to be waived), Noah Vonleh to the Knicks, the OKC/ORL trade (Dakari Johnson to the Magic), the ORL/MEM trade (Daraki Johnson to the Grizzlies, Jarrell Martin to the Magic), Shelvin Mack to the Grizzlies, Treveon Duval 2-way contract with the Bucks, Alex Polythress 2-way contract with the Hawks, Travis Wear 2-way contract with the Lakers, Malik Newman is now a free agent.

I see you on several post asking this same question. Go to download section "Players/Coaches" and look for and download the CFID List for 2K18. Once you have that list you can use whatever PNG # you choose. There's even a tutorial video attached to the download.

It's pretty much up to you which ID's you use. I'm not into the classic players so I used a lot of those CF ID's. Also some of the ID's used in the draft class conflicted with those I was already using. Eventually you will find what works best for you.
