UnderArmor Unleash Chaos Panel Mod
Howdy everybody,
I have never liked the unleash chaos panel that pops up for an in-game highlight. I personally just find the black and red jarring--in an aesthetically bad way.
Anyways, this is just a mod that replaces that panel. These were just random panels found in the OC archive that i found interesting. There might be other panels that would work. Making this mod was rather simple.
example: the Nike replacement panel. Find wipenikeplus.iff and rename it to wipeunderarmour.iff. Then find WipeNikePlus.VCUIELEMENT and rename it to WipeUnderArmour.VCUIELEMENT

anyways, that how these were made.
Just place thei wipeunderarmor.iff into your modded folder.
other panels might work; i didn't try them all.

Yeah I saw a playoffs version in Basagre's video on fb, some were commenting on the post. Hopefully he releases it.

was wondering if he found a way to keep the playoff uptop all the time. anyways, looks like meshes/animations were not changed, just a very good texture edit https://imgur.com/a/TsNJU7R
He might have utilized one of the extra meshes in blender and attached a texture.
If he releases it, that'd be great. I don't even need to be acknowledged. It really doesn't bother me.

Anyways, i could fix it, but i probably wont. things got busy and i've moved to other projects.

Anyways, i really don't care what folks do with these mods. Their just stuff i fiddle with in my free time. They can be edited by anybody, released by anybody, hosted anywhere. It really doesn't matter to me. It's also the reason I include the psd files... if it helps a young person learn about textures/meshes/ and hex, then that is a great thing. Anyways, if ya look up the tutorials, these small things can easily be fixed.

Anyways, just dumping this texture here in case i decide to make it into a working scoreboard.
Texture needs some cleaning up.

by using the Float Value, you can think of stuff in whole numbers. so if contrast is 1.09 ... then increase it to 1.20 .... or decrease it to 0.8
or if white balance/luminosity is 4800.0000 .... then change to 4200.0000 or 3600.000 or 5800.000.... or whatever number.

with small numbers (1.0 or 0.8 or 0.5 etc ) usually a small change is all that's required. so changing contrast from 1.09 to 1.18 will change bunch of stuff. changing 1.09 to 18.4 will make a very very large change. that usually the rule with small numbers.

just figured this out.

Can save the scoreboard dds with no compression and it will run in the game fine. I've been saving dds with dxt5 compression out of habit.... never tried no compression until i had these blemishes above the shot clock that were irritating me haha
oh well. Just putting it here so i can remember, lol

Yeah, I'm not planning on getting 2k19. I just buy a game every few years. Not much difference between 2k18 and 2k19

nope. it isn't in the default 2k18 scoreboard popus, so it seems they took that stuff out of 2k18.

Anyways, looyh granted me permission to use his ESPN 2019 texture. working on getting the scoreboard built for 2k18. I'll post it here in a week or two when i get it finished up.

This is what I was talking about and it's actually already in NBA 2k18 but I think it only shows up occasionally in the "Today's Games" option

Since the NBA Season just started, the "Today's Games" option works again in 2k18 in the "Play Now" section.
I was playing a game and noticed it and just by luck managed to find the videoclip.
