Per DA, he's "under the weather" lol

Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

That's why something needs to be done to keep people from saving dunks. Whether it be more dunks or more rounds.

Did anyone watch the celebrity game? I guess there was a ruffles 4 point line lol
Didn't Adam silver ask for wacky ideas for the all star game?

I like the idea but what do you do? 4 players 4 rounds? Then everyone displays their dunks but your are killing 1vs1 rivalries such as MJ vs Wilkins or Lavine vs Gordon.

Or maybe do like UFC with performance bonuses so best dunk of the night gets some money

Great contests where two dudes go at it topping each other on the next dunk sounds great, but those are so rare, you can't expect that to happen every year. Lavine vs Gordon was a bit of an anomaly where the stars aligned

There was a field of eight with three dunks per round back in the 80s when MJ and Nique were vying for the dunk crown, so I don't think expanding the field or number of dunks will prevent great rivalries and showdowns.

Some years are going to be better than others, but the current format probably does lead to competitors holding back a little. An extra dunk may help out there. Just don't go with unlimited attempts. We saw what happened with Chris Andersen and Nate Robinson.

They got rid of the time limit so they gotta make the dunks when the bright lights and cameras are on

I'm sure DSJ had more nasty dunks too
