Sprewell preview and need some help

Mon Jan 22, 2018 7:36 am

Hi, I'm very into modding NBA players. I'm basically a big fan of the late 90's and early 00's so if I have time, I would do everything in my power to share mods with you guys. But I have some questions that need to be answered.

I am recently working on Sprewell, here's a preview.

https://ibb.co/gYE2Rw

There's a thing on his beard but I think a can handle it with blender.
I just want to know a couple of things before complete my mod.

1) How do I change the hair color?
2) How do I change the body color? Sprewell needs some lighter tone.
3) And I certainly need a better program to make textures, I'm working with paint.net who reads the dds. Anyone knows something better?

Thanks.

1) How do I change the hair color? Extract png.iff then look for hair_color_o.dds then change the color according to you preference.
2) How do I change the body color? Sprewell needs some lighter tone. Extract png.iff then look for appearance_info.RDAT and edit using notepad ++ then edit skin color
3.) And I certainly need a better program to make textures, I'm working with paint.net who reads the dds. Anyone knows something better? ADOBE PHOTOSHOP (Y)

Gimp or gimp 2. I forget which one it's called. But it's a good alternative to photoshop.

Thanks for the help. I just came back from my vacations. I have Adobe Photoshop now installed with the NVIDIA extension to edit dds files, but when I open the hair_color.dds files it only shows me a black picture. I don't know what am I doing wrong with this. The app works fine with the face and body textures though. Thank you very much for everything else.

you need both the nvidia dds extension and the intel extension.

Oh, thank you so much, sir!
Now I can view the textures. Let's play :)

Mr. TGsoGood by the way, do you know how to fix the smoothness to the hairs we put in other cyberfaces?
For example, I'm creating this guy, which is my brother by the way, but the bear and the hair are not as smooth as the original ones.
I put him the Darius Miles's beard, but it doesn't look like the original one.

Here are the pictures.
