Pretty good stuff from the Cavs - very clearly "we're trying to make it look like we care about this season but really preparing for this guy to leave" moves. The icing on top of the cake was to just send Wade packing for nothing to be completely "new-look". You gotta wonder why he even signed with them when he seemed disinterested from the start; it will be completely forgotten that he was ever on the team.
Wish J.R. was sent instead of Frye. They didn't give Frye much of a chance this season - he is money from beyond the arc and this team is sorely lacking in bigs; your rim protection is Kevin Love, TT, Zizic (if they ever play him) and the 6'9/8" Nance. I would've sent the Brooklyn pick for Jordan because whenever you have LeBron you should be in win-now mode; good luck using the Brooklyn pick on Anthony Bennet 2.0.
Getting George Hill is a great fit, but they were a little too obsessed with acquiring a middle of the road PG like him. Also, aren't Hood and J.R. essentially the same player? I know Hood isn't as one-dimensional as J.R. at this point in his career, but that's all the reason to keep Frye over JR. I'm not saying the Lakers would've wanted him, but maybe in another trade.
If they were willing to give up the Brooklyn pick, they probably could've used all these assets before Lou Will's extension to acquire him, DeAndre and Hill, which much more looks like a championship squad, but no - let's settle for this middle of the road team that could get eliminated in the ECF but still has hope for life beyond Bron (not sure if it's better financially to have a great season followed by a shitty one or two average ones in a row).

He pulls a B. Roy and plays his last games in a T'Wolves uniform.
