Seeing this happen to Cleveland is hilarious. But I feel bad for Thomas, yes I know he's playing shitty.

Thomas may never be back to his old self, and that's a shame. His old self was a terror on offense.

The Cavs don't even look like they are trying at this point. LeBron has always done this loser shit on defense (just standing there and letting people go by, or doing the lazy swipe, or literally just standing there with his hands on his hips) but it looks like the rest of the Cavs have joined him with that effort, makes for a fine spectacle. And at the same time, he will put on a fake show of yelling at his teammates to play defense. If you guys think that the players are just giving up on the organization, or Dan Gilbert, etc you are mistaken. The players are absolutley giving up on LeBron because they are sick of his phony, stat padding, overrated ass.

The Cavs need a savior in the worst way, someone who has that Kobe mentality and literally can put the ball in the basket whenever he wants (Like Kyrie). But that won't solve the defensive struggles, that will take partially cleaning house if possible and getting a few good bodies in there. Which is near impossible at this point unless they trade a 1st rounder (BKN Pick) and a few other pieces. However, who really wants anybody from the band of effortless players? And the Cavs know for a fact LeBron is walking, if I were them I wouldn't get rid of any picks. Throw away the future because of LeBron? Right.

Speaking of which, I think Vince should compete in the dunk contest once last time: https://twitter.com/NBCSKings/status/960679348008202240

I'd love to see it. He'd be the oldest winner, and have the longest time between dunk contest victories, should he take home the crown.

Dunk of the decade candidate; will be forever underrated since he didn't knock Hardaway to the floor.

The Suns had 50 points through three quarters last night, compared to 97 by the Spurs. I believe at one point, it was something like 89-38, and ended up 129-81. Brutal.

I saw. Without Booker, that team might be the worst in NBA History.

With Booker they also are very, very poor.

Nikola Jokic now has more triple-doubles (10) through his first three seasons than LeBron James did (9).

I keep passing up on him in daily fantasy in favor of balancing my roster out more, and I keep getting burned. All the top teams had him last night.

His passing skills as a big man are top notch, and it doesn't hurt being surrounded by shooters like Gary Harris, Murray and Barton. He makes the best of his tools considering he isn't the most athletic guy in the world.

The Nurkic trade makes a whole lot more sense now, as how do you take minutes away from a talent like Jokic? While I am a big fan of Nurkic and his game, no way those two could have coexisted. Nurkic is a starter in this league, he's just not as good as Jokic.

Sounds like Kawhi Leonard is done for the season. We might see the Spurs dip below 50 wins for the first time in two decades, discounting the lockout-shortened 1999 season where they still won the equivalent of 50+ games. As it is, they've dropped their last three heading into the All-Star break.

I was already pretty high on the rockets chances this year. Does ISO Joe put them over the top? Or is he over the hill now and won't make a difference as a backup swingman?

Watching him play, he doesn't look over the hill. He is a professional scorer, he just knows how to get it done. I think he fits in well.

They have people on the bench that can put up points without help, namely Gerald Green and now Joe Johnson. That's huge. Joe Johnson proved in Utah that he could do well against other teams second units.

I already felt that they had a strong enough team to win it all this year.

Trey Burke with 26 points in 30 minutes on 12-22 from the field. granted it was against Orlando, but still impressive.

Watching the Knicks rotate players in and out of that PG/SG spot is interesting. Apparently Hornacek said that Burke will probably get more run for the rest of the season, I wasn't even sure he would even see the floor much at all when they picked him up.

Frank Ntilikina (I thought) would get more run. But I have to remind myself that it's the Knicks, and he is 19. They not only took on Burke, but they took on Mudiay. I think Frank could be a fine NBA player given the chance, I actually thought he was going to get an earlier chance to mature with KP going down.

I think he can give some minutes/ be a minutes eater for the regular season. against a team like the warriors though he will get exploited on defense

Injury looked pretty bad, but given that it's a meniscus and not an ACL, there's a chance he could return this season. Obviously as we've seen with guys like Brandon Roy, you have to take a meniscus tear seriously, it certainly could have been a lot worse.

The question is, are they in danger of their thirteen year playoff drought becoming a fourteen year drought? Utah and LAC are solid teams, and it'll probably take 45 or so wins to get in. At 36-26, the Wolves are far from a lock to make it in.

Speaking of teams that started out hot, but might miss out, the Spurs' injuries have really caught up to them, and with Kawhi likely out for the year, their playoff hopes are in peril, and their 50 win streak is almost certain to end at 18 (!) seasons.
